You are truly amazing. I feel indebted to you. Zack has been my hero for a long time. He's been my role model...and to meet the fate that he did in Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core...I think they should have put a scene in the game or the movie where they kiss. They both deserve each other. But at least they're in a better place...and together now.

I couldn't have said it better myself!!! It really does upset me when people place Zack and Tifa together, or Aerith and Cloud. I feel Zack and Aerith are being dishonored, and I feel such separation should not be so between both of them in any manner.

I know right!! And my god, people never give Zack any cred if you think about it. Everyone's always, Cloud this, Cloud that, hey people, if it werent for Zack, Cloud wouldn't be alive or as strong as he is now. And of course, Zack and Aerith are like made perfect for each other, so for people to say "Zack and Tifa, or Cloud and Aerith, they need to check themselves.

That is exactly what I've noticed as well...Zack is disregarded when Cloud is around. When notably, a large part of Cloud's persona is because of Zack Fair. But even when this is so, for some reason people lean more towards Cloud. I personally think Zack is by far more alluring, in perhaps all aspects, compared to Cloud .

Why thank you very much. ^_^ and I agree with you 150% Zack is just better then Cloud, he's saved Clouds rear countless times, not to mention the fact that without Zack's cells inside of his body Cloud couldn't even hold his frickin sword. Also Zack is better then Cloud personality wise as well. Example ^_^, stuff happens to Zack, he embraces it an continues to protect everyone, his loved ones, and himself to the very end. Cloud on the other hand, bad stuff happens, he goes into a deep depression and pushes away everyone close to him and constantly complains about being weak, and only comes back around when people are in dire need of his help. And again, Zacks just overall better then Cloud, and always will be. And of course, Aerith kinda trumps Tifa, just cause she is in love with Zack and that she can defy Jenova purely and simply. ^_^ man this is fun. I love the final fantasy seven series.

You got it. I mean, yeah, Cloud also saved Zack in a few occasions, and I give him credit. But...that doesn't compare to the fact that Zack DIED for Cloud. And it is very true, Cloud seems to let his emotions get in the way too much. Which continues to make me wonder why people are this fond of him. I mean, I like him Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. He's a normal Infantryman, laughing and smiling alongside Zack and all.....but in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children....He went straight into being a complete wreck. And even in the COMPLETE version of the movie....if it weren't for the descended Zack's appearance to encourage Cloud and remind him of his strength, Sephiroth would have smoked the blondi in the blink of an eye.

I think its just the fact that Cloud was
1. In more games then Zack.
2. Also that Cloud is thought of as the "original" main protagonist.
And yeah I think that he really only saved Zack that one time when Sephiroth gained the upper hand on Zack and Zack lost his sword and Cloud got him by surprise. And yeah in Advent Children he totally lost it, he made Tifa, Denzel, and Marlene worry so much about him, he couldn't even bother to tell them that he was sick, and of course in COMPLETE, if Zack hadn't stepped in and encouraged Cloud then he would be nothing but blood stains on Sephiroth's wing. Heck Zack offered to give cloud some help, which would have been awesome if Zack had taken Cloud's place and kicked the s**t out of Sephiroth, but seriously, Cloud is nothing without Zack, yet Zack gets so little credit. It really sucks. The weaker man gets more attention and credit then the real hero of Final Fantasy VII.

Most definitely. I have previously gotten into arguments regarding this matter, where people claim that Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is nothing but something "extra"....like a sort of "filler", and that Final Fantasy VII could have gone on perfectly fine without Crisis Core which is a valid point, superficially speaking. However I keep defending Zack's cause, for regardless of the order in which each game was released....Zack was the beginning of Cloud's success. Cloud had such little self-esteem that if Zack hadn't supported him while he was an infantryman, he wouldn't have had the strength to carry on in his journey.

Exactly, we think alike, you and I. Despite the fact that Crisis Core wasn't made till after Final Fantasy VII, without Zack, cloud would have just been another Shinra soldier who was used as another pawn in a giant game of chess. And yeah seriously, Cloud had so little faith in himself that without Zack's tutelage, he wouldn't have made it so far, and he wouldn't be where he is now,he wouldn't even be a major character. He would have been long dead. Which is sad, because of not only the huge power margin between them but also the personality margin. And totally Zack just really needs more attention despite all of that. Really, Zack's amazing. ^_^

I concur. And well, it's quite odd if you really think about it. I mean, in Crisis Core Cloud was nearly killed several times as an Infantryman, but in the end he recuperated. Like when he got shot at Niebleheim. Or when he was gravely injured when Sephiroth destroyed Nebelheim after finding out the truth about himself. Or when Sephiroth, the greatest 1st Class SOLDIER that ever lived (after Zack of course. Haha.), stabbed him with his relatively long katana named "Masamune", and threw him down a staircase. Zack, on the other hand, in his confrontation against Shinra's army, died after sorrowful battle...just like that. *Sigh*
But in any case, to me...Zack Fair...was the greatest 1st Class SOLDIER and Hero that ever existed.

That is very true, but there were only two reasons that cloud was able to push through, which were
1. Zack mainly of course, cause without which he would be dead.
2. Tifa, who he greatly loved and pushed him to grow stronger.
And Zacks fight against Shinra, he fought against an army of at least 400 strong and beat pretty much all of them, he only lost when he was shot by a sniper from long distance. And I agree with you 200% that Zack was the best that has ever been and will ever be, and no one in any future game will change that supreme fact. Frankly he could probably win the whole Final Fantasy Dissidia game all by himself with Cloud. ^_^ oh and on the subject of Sephiroth's Masamune, "relatively long" I'd say that more as an understatement, that's a crazy monster of a katana, 7-feet in length, Jesus there aren't even any European swords that are that long. Just like Zack's buster sword, a sword that could not exist, although it does. ^_^

There is truth to that. Up to a certain extent, Cloud was a sort of reflection of Zack. That is why Zack chose the blondie to become His 'Living Legacy'. That is also the reason why Aerith, Zack's sweetheart got along so well with Cloud, for he reminded her of Zack...in a way. I just think that Cloud shouldn't blame himself too harshly. I mean, look at Zack, He Himself had to end His mentor and best friend, Angeal's, suffering. Thus he saw the one who took him, "The Restless Puppy", under his wing die before his very eyes. And yes, the poor, beloved Zack was devastated by this event. Yet, nonetheless, he continued to be cheerful, hapy-go-lucky, and determined. Whereas Cloud went from a humorous countryboy that smiled and laughed alongside Zack....to a somber, and unsmiling individual. I personally, disliked such drastic change. I know if I were Cloud, I would have tried to be more cheerful...because I'd know Zack would be unhappy if I were too. After all...he DID give his life for CLoud's. Got it memorized?

I know right. I mean come on Cloud, Zack fought against impossible odds, defied the laws of a very crazy powerful company and gave his life for Cloud so he could live on and not have to die. If I had a mentor that did that for me, I'd always be happy, because they gave their life so I could smile everyday, not so I'd be another grave stone in the ground, or a mopy baby who can't even tell the people he loves that he's sick and leave and not talk to them for months. He really should have respected Zack's wishes, he gave his life for him, the least he could do is smile and be happy. Zack all the way! It's too bad he wasn't in that many games, he deserves more cred. But yeah ^_^ Zack all the way!

Yeah, most guys I barely meet in person tend to not take me seriously when it comes to gaming. For some reason girls are not that credible for that matter. But I am huge huge huge on video-games!! I love them!! Any type!!! Yup yup yup!!! I'm a gamer girl all the way, as you can see, RPG's are my personal favorites. We both followed through all Final Fantasy VII discussion!! YAY!!

Well if memory serves me correctly, the first representative appearance of this form, was in the first Kingdom Hearts for PlayStation2, at the beginning of the game when Sora is 'dreaming'. As he approached the light, the narrator stated "the closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes",which literally happened to Sora, but then his shadow emerged from the ground, and he had to fight against it. Sora's anti-form possesses no Heartless Emblem, making it a 'Pureblood', just like the little Shadows, Neoshadows, or any other Heartless without emblems. But I am very intrigued...why the particular interest in Sora's Anti-Form?? :3

Well when I first delved into that first fight I kind of thought of the same thing. But then it came to me that the shadow that Sora fought wasn't the Anti-Sora, it did not attack in the same manner as the Anti-Sora, it mearly shared the same appearance. It used a shadow version of the kingdom key and copied Sora's attack style, and dived into shadows when it felt threatened, while Anti-Sora attacks were feral, attacking not with a blade, but with claws on his hands, and relentlessly attacking till said prey or opponent is defeated or dead. And also true the Anti-Sora is a "pureblood" heartless seeing as how it was created purely from Sora's heart, not by any other means such as shadow manipulation or any other hair brained Xehanort/Xemnas means, he is as pure darkness as heartless get.
And the reason I'm intrigued? :3 well it's very quite simple, I love the fact that behind Sora's normal face and everything else, inside of him lurks a beast that is but a monster, probably stronger then Sora himself, and is devoid of all light, seeking only to devower hearts and consume Sora's heart. :3

Correct, I had observed previously observed this as well, but I believe both representations of darkness in the form of Sora, are similar. While Sora's Anti-Form is more vividly used in Kingdom Hearts II, it truly IS intriguing to see such berserk figure to represent Sora, the wielder of the Keyblade, whose light shines with such radiant light. But, I think it is for certain to say.....within the brightest of light, in the deepest corner of such brightness, even if it just a speck, the darkness resides. And as minimal as that spec of shadow may be, it possesses unimaginable power.

And that's exactly what I thought, that even though the two dark Sora's are Sora's inner darkness come to life, the Anti-Sora was manifested straight from Sora himself, making it more powerful then the Shadow Sora.

Thank you. And....Precisely!! As we can see, Sora's Anti-Form does not even need to use the Keyblade to destroy the enemy. Thus, we can already assume the strength that darkness possesses.

And exactly, that is why Light users try so hard to stop the growth of the darkness powers, it's because of their near unstoppable powers, in the hands of even the most pure of hearts. Darkness is so much more powerful then Light, despite the fact that it's used by all of the bad guys, seen as not only when Sora uses it in Anti-Form, but when Riku uses it against Sora, or when Terra uses it against Xehanort.

I agree with you. However, I think there is a little more to darkness. Most people depict it as something wrought from he forces of evil. But...personally...I don't think that darkness is always bad. I mean, what IS light without darkness??
It's like Riku said, people are only scared of the darkness, only because of what may lurk inside it. But it can be useful, as Namine' said....the light can help through the deepest darkness, and darkness can help through the brightest blinding light.

I see light and darkness as two sides to a person, you have already stated that one cannot exist without the other. Darkness cannot exist without light, and light cannot exist without darkness. Without light, there would be no shadow cast, without the darkness, the light would have nothing to shine itself upon. But not only those aspects of a person, but also the psychological, the light symbolizes the higher end of our subconcious the smarter intellectual side, while the darkness represents our primal side, the animal within us all, the side that reacts on instinct and instinct alone, that animal is what we all fear, the power that lies in us all, the power that can corrupt a man's soul, or what saves him from the depths of despair.

Astounding explanation, dear friend!! I entirely concur with all that you have just said. I believe that the perfect example for this, if you are familiar with him and Dissidia Final Fantasy, is Cecil Harvey. He states that light and darkness coexist and each has a beautiful side to them. He, personally uses both light AND darkness to serve the forces of good and righteousness.
However, only very few can find the advantages to darkness, since, as previously stated, most fear it. I personally, thought of myself as a denizen of light at a younger age. And as I grew older, I fell into absolute darkness. Surprisingly enough, it was through the shadows that I found myself, and became stronger. And now, I have come to know that I belong neither, for my being walks upon grayness. The advantage of this is that I can now cope with each side, and know the advantages as well as disadvantages of both. Unfortunately, it is not this way for all, since most tend to get lost thinking darkness is nothing but an eternal abyss.
As a distinct child, that thought things an average kid would not normally think, I knew of these forces. And I always imagined a sleeping beast, chained, awaiting for its chance to escape as it lay in deep slumber within the deepest, darkest corner of my soul. I feared the day it would broke free, but I didn't know then that we all had it in us. Sometimes it is already free and corrupting, but people tend to hide it so well. I believe it is a part of us, and this beast that is suppressed by our wills isn't always bad so long as it can be controlled.
Another thing, many people do not normally see either, is that light can be harmful as well. For instance, in Terra's case. Terra had the power of darkness trying to awaken within him, but he was a young man of good intentions. As fate would have it, Ventus and Aqua's lights shined bright, in fact so much so, that they cast great shadows upon Terra's heart, which was only logical. For the closer you get to the light...the greater your shadow becomes. Got it memorized?

That provides a valid argument. And yeah you are totally right. Light or darkness cannot exist without the other. It is a symbiotic relationship, Light lives off the ecistence of Darkness, and Darkness lives off the Light. ANd I too believed that I was a child of light, and in some ways I still am. But I still linger in between, there are times when I linger into the Darkness, when my rage takes over me and I become mad. And again, there is a beast within us all, I too believe that there was one within me, just dying to get free.
