Description Childhood, Christmas time, friends, family, joy, happiness ... and, a new toy on my desk. Toy that will define my life, responsible for such a beautiful experiences from my childhood. Kids imaginary world, lost over time, a glimpse of it left in my head, a glimpse of priceless memory.
But, it wouldn't be such a great experience if it wasn't for my friends... do you guys remember how we spent hours playing games, competing and exploring these new digital frontiers?

I must admit I had Atari ST not Amiga , but my friend had Amiga and it had way better graphics and sound than my ST. So that's the reason why I decided to model Amiga for this illustration, out of respect.

Ahh... Cannon Fodder? Now I don't need to wonder how the box art looked like until it got censored. Great job, anyway!

So many memories
Amiga was my first contact with the world of 3d graphics - with the mighty Lightwave.

that's great.  Lots of memories. Looks like a  later model A500 or 1200.  What game is on the screen?  I don't recognize it.

Great picture, brings back many memories of 8- and 16-bit computing - what does the post-it note on the monitor say?

Amazing, thank you. Reminds me of my childhood in NYC. Cold ice and frost on the windows but a radiator providing heat. I can feel the cold coming through the window pane. Playing games on my 386 and NES.  Basketball on the left, I spent my childhood watching Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley.  Reminds me of playing Diablo 1 on my Pentium 120 on a freezing cold winter day.

Thank you so much for creating this; it really takes me back. It could have been my room when I was a teenager... I probably wouldn't have framed ads for the Amiga on the wall, but I did keep some in a scrap book! And most likely would have been playing The Bard's Tale instead of Cannon Fodder.

I had an Amiga 500, I remember upgrading it to a whopping ONE whole megabyte of ram. I did more upgrades later; adding a 20 megabyte hard drive, even more ram and a thingie to increase the chip ram, but I can't remember what it was called. Now I run 0S 3.9 via win uae on a windows 7 machine; which isn't nearly as much fun. Very well done - thanks!
