So I feel like I've been spamming lately. I guess I'm just too exited to share everything I've been drawing because I think I've gotten back into the artistic groove.Anyway, I read the wonderful 's webcomic, Ava's Demon, and I absolutely LOVE it. The story is original, the art is stunning; and I love the dramatic lighting on all the pages. I was looking at all the fan art for it and noticed that there aren't very many happy drawings of Ava, so I tried to make her look hopeful.
I tried to match Deviantart's green color because I could only see the background as a gem, but if it doesn't match exactly, I apologise. Enjoy!

There's a "demo" I believe is free, Autodesk Sketchbook Express you can get for either PC or Mac. It doesn't have all the same features, but it's still really good.
