Apophysis 2.04bPutzing around with the Julian variation. I got tired of tweaking it but I like the general look so I decided to submit. Suggestions regarding variations / variables would be most welcome.

You should be giving tutorials on Apophysis.
I just downloaded it and it is not an intuitive process.
This is really nice. I could see this being used in an animation or 3d render.

No, Apophysis is not intuitive at all, except maybe to the coders and a handful of rocket scientists.
