I have noticed this basic shape in the light and shadows of the moon for many years. Do you suppose it was the original model for the design?

Now there's an interesting observation. I looked at the moon for years thru telescopes and never once saw a yin yang. I suppose that's not unusual since most people I know never see a woman's face in the moon, even after I trace it out for them. Anyway, I'm going to have to go dig up some moon images and look for the yin yang.
