What kind of leather did you use? It looks more kidskin than cowhide. Looks like it works well.

I'm sorry I have no idea. The leather was given to me by my father inlaw. It was scraps he had left over

No worries. It just looks soft, strong, and rather cuddly. I forgot to mention that I like the contrasting stitching.

Thanks I like the stitching to stand out It is very soft. Its kind of like thick shammy leather. He said he used it to repair the seats of the vehicles he was welding
