“Molly is a nice name, ” Elizabeth smiles down at me and giggles “it is a fine name for accessory like you.” I lay down on her palm and smile up at her. Lost in this small moment of kindness, I am feeling happy for the first time since I woke up tiny. Elizabeth doesn’t seem that bad of a owner, I think to myself. She hasn’t threatened me yet; at my size a flick of her finger could hurt let alone if she actually tried to crush me in her hands. In fact she is actually rather kind and thoughtful to me. On the other hand she still is my owner. I am a woman, not some girls object. Maybe Elizabeth might be kind enough to not keep me and let me live my own life.
“But if you want to be a good accessory we are going to have to do some training” Elizabeth looks down on me sternly, but in an almost playful way. My mood drops considerably as the reality of the situation sets in. In her other hand was her brand new IPhone. I was looking forward to buying one right after my next promotion, but I guess that won’t be happening anytime soon. I catch a glimpse and see that on it was a guide to training you first accessory.
“Oh I see you looking at my new phone, do you like it? It is pretty fancy.” She giggles. I nod slowly and approvingly. “Oh it even has something for you!” she says excitedly. Elizabeth flips through the phone until she comes to a certain app. She sets her phone down on her dresser and carefully sets me down on the top. Next thing I know I am suddenly somewhere else. But wait this somewhere else seems familiar, the tacky pink and girly colors of a teenagers room. I am clearly still in Elizabeth's room, but it is normal sized. Sure enough I see a normal sized Elizabeth standing over by the dresser. How can this be? Did she somehow unshrink me? That shouldn’t be possible with just a phone, but I am not complaining if she somehow has. I start walking towards the normal sized Elizabeth until I suddenly trip by a sudden drop on the ground and fall face first on the top of the dresser.
I hear laughing from up above. “Isn’t it so cool” Elizabeth is laughing maniacally, “It is a hologram specifically for you shrinked people to feel comfortable and normal around us, but as you see it doesn’t quite work yet.”
I feel so embarrassed and stupid for not realizing that it was an illusion and disappointed that all this wasn’t over. It was certainly mean trick making me think I was back to normal when it was really only an illusion. Most of all I was upset with Elizabeth for betraying me right when I was starting to trust her. I look up her visibly upset and by this point almost back to tears.
“What is wrong Molly? Did you not like the app? I got it to make you feel more comfortable with being tiny.” Elizabeth calms down and gently cups me into her hands again and brings me up to her face.
“No,” I mutter. “It was a pretty mean trick to make it seem like you unshrunk me. If I have to stay shrunk then atleast I would like to not be tricked.”
“Oh” Elizabeth frowns and spends a moment thinking. “I guess it would be pretty mean to do that to you, especially since it is such a big change in your life it would be better to adjust naturally. Besides you have to stay tiny for a while, so it is best to get used to it. “
“The app didn’t even work anyway!” Elizabeth laughs and smiles. I can’t help but smile a little too, despite the fact that I am going to be stuck this way for quite some time.
“I guess that put you into kind of a downer again. I know what will cheer you up before we start our training.” Elizabeth say excitedly. She reaches down and pulls out a bag chocolate candy from one of her drawers. “Don’t tell anyone I have these hidden up here, they can be our secret” she laughs as she hands me an absolutely huge piece of candy. Now even when I was normal sized I was a huge chocolate addict and couldn’t resist it, but now I was confronted with the biggest piece of chocolate I have ever seen (relatively speaking). I have the biggest smile on my face as I reach up and grab the huge piece of chocolate from between Elizabeth’s fingers. I snatch it out of away from her and hug it against my body as I start nibbling on it.
“Whoa little girl don’t eat too much I don’t want you to get sick. “ Elizabeth smiles down, her plan certainly working as I am much happier now then I was before. I have gotten through a significant portion of the candy as Elizabeth reaches down to grab it from me. She grabs onto the piece of candy and starts trying to tug it away from me. In response I am just hug it tighter against me. I am not going to let it go, as this candy was the first thing I actually enjoyed since being shrunk. Elizabeth pulls harder against the candy,but a more playful like manner.
“You can’t have it all, it’s too much for you and you will get sick and we have a lot to do.”Elizabeth says to me playfully. I just hold it tighter.
“Mine,” I manage to squeak out without thinking. Elizabeth burst into laughter. I am once again embarrassed at this sudden outburst, but I am currently too happy to feel upset about it. I blush a little.
“You are just too adorable.” Elizabeth says playfully. Suddenly I feel the soft ground of Elizabeth’s hand fall away from underneath me. I panic as I realize that the only thing holding me up is the piece of candy I am holding onto to. I hold on tighter to prevent from falling to my almost certain doom. I panic again as I feel to soft objects right under my arms. I squeam as Elizabeth’s fingers reach around me and eve so gently ply my arms from off the. It is so weird to be manipulated like this, like I don’t even have control over my own body. I watch as Elizabeth finally pulls the candy away from my grasps. I expect to fall but I am firmly pinched between Elizabeth’s thumb and index finger.
It is actually really weird to be held this way. When I was sitting on her hands it just felt like normal, despite the strange texture of the skin and the heightened smell of her perfumes and such, but when being pinched like this it is almost like I am floating. I feel like I am should be falling since her grasp is so gentle and she is very careful not to hurt me. I can’t say it was an entirely unpleasant experience after the initial momentary shock of almost falling. It is very fun to just let my legs dangle free.
“Well I know what I can bribe you with now.” Elizabeth laughs as I dangle between her two fingers. I can’t help but join in. Maybe I found something not too bad about being shrunk.
“Now we should be ready to start your training” Elizabeth smiles down at me.
