I've fostered a bunny before, but I'm not able to do anything like that with an animal shelter as I'm allergic to cats.
Which sucks. I really like cats.

If I'd known that years ago I might have been able to do something with it!
But I have a spouse and child now, and I don't like leaving them when I can avoid it. <3
I did enjoy fostering a bunny for a while. I don't think I'd be able to do anything in an animal shelter tho. Even being in the room where cats have been a lot will get my allergies acting up. Especially touching things they interact with commonly.

And even if you cannot leave your family, they have animal donations which I tribute to. Can give you their phone number.. they usually have an Ad for it every now and then on TV.

I prefer to help local organizations where I can. They are really small around here and they don't get as many contributions.
