I first want to say that I really love the warm palette of this piece. It beautifully matches the warm emotion shared between the pair. I wish there was more emphasis on them with the amount of lens blur around them. Or with a darker vignette since the viewer's perspective seems to be "peeking through a keyhole" in a way.  Right now the background is still busy and distracting as it looks like an entirely different style. The light playing on their silhouettes is also a nice detail, but the light source in the back doesn't seem to quite match it. I also wonder why the little dust specks/bokeh are everywhere but the foreground where there is enough light to illuminate them. They could add some quick depth and really sell the antique setting. Other than those small things, I really don't see much else needing a critique that hasn't been touched on. There are so many little details I keep finding the more I look at it, from the watch to the signs on the wall and the seams on their clothes. Your fabric shading is kind of brilliant, (your fingers too) I'm a little envious. XD

Hel~lo! I'm from ProjectComment here to comment on your lovely piece! Here we go!

What drew me to this piece, past it being on the project comment page, was how well it was done. I love the piece as a whole, from the design of the characters to how the light glows around them to the softness of the store to the happiness and calmness I get from looking at this piece. The details on the shirt are great, even up to the fold on the black shirt. The highlighting and shading add great little touches to the whole piece. The background gives the whole piece life and just adds to the picture. The light from the back even makes

However, I do have some issues with the picture. Now this might just be how I'm looking at it, but the legs appear to be really dark. I know shading would make it like that but, it would be nice to be able to see the legs a little better because it too has some great detail. The hands seem unproportioned to the rest of the body, even for hands being so close to us. They seem too big for the proportion of the body to be close to it but also too small for it to be farther away. Also, the heads. They appear to have too small of heads for their body type. I've seen the other pictures and have seen the proportions of their head to their body, so this one I know I'm right on. (Sorry, I just feel bad about the uncertainty I have about the proportions.) The brown haired guy has a very feminine look to him. I don't know what it is but he just looks like a girl. Well, his face does anyway. The red haired guy looks fine. I wanna say its the roundness of the cheek or how the hair is flowing but I'm not sure. One last thing, the background is a nice choice. However, from what I gather, the red haired guy works at a bar and he looks like he's still working, so why doesn't the background show that? Plus, I looked at some of your other pieces, and the background looks great. You draw wonderful backgrounds, but it doesn't look like you drew this one. It looks like a photo that went through a paint filter, and that disappoints me. I don't normally watch you but from what I've seen your backgrounds seem to always look great.

I absolutely love your shading and the way you draw hair, and Ambros' and Whiskey's platonic relationship seems so sweet. You can really see that those two care for each other in this image. Their smiles and the way they are holding each other, along with the cozy setting, just makes you feel so happy for them! I literally went "Aw!" when I saw this haha
And platonic relationships don't get enough love, in my opinion anyway, so I love that you have so much art and care and a great story for these characters! Plus that background (photo or drawn by you) is just perfect.

Wow, I really love these two and their story!
First of all, the atmosphere is so warm and comforting, you can almost hear that soothing music ^^
I like the light around them. The pose is also nicely done. They hold onto each other with great care, you can see instantly just how they cherish each other.
The background - was it all drawn by yourself or you used the photo and blurred it? If the first then you're a genius *___*
Overall, it's approximately 9 out of 10 for me ^.^
