Description Guardian is a skill level 2 model rocket, via Estes. I put a layer of enamel paint, and going to sand it later, then apply a layer of spray paint, and re-sand. I'm still trying to get the 'hang' of spray painting. One of the important aspects of rocketry, you want to reduce as much drag as possible to achieve maximum height.
Once I complete Guardian, I might post before and after pictures of the launch system.

Yahoo! New builds are underway, just managed to get another big Phoenix, can't wait to get started. Will need another visit to the hobby shop since mama knocked my sanding sealer glass bottle onto the garage floor, that was fun to clean up, arrrg!

I do like build shots.
Funny thing is, I have 18 fins shaped like that for my Thunderbird 3 MKII.

I await the final (and any other) images

I'm still in the sanding and painting process. It's the first time I'm using spray paint. So far, it's coming together and painful at times (blast the air bubbles!).
Going back to building model rockets is a BIG STRESS RELIEVER!!

Luckily, I didn't find any old rocket engines laying about. . . That would be. . . interesting.
