Description
Yep. You guessed it. I broke that promise to myself and have started writing another storyAnd, yes, I'm one of the believers of the thought that Wally was merely taken into the Speed Force when he got zapped. Namely because I grew up with a major crush on said speedster and refuse to believe that he's among the dead.
Really, I think I'm just enjoying the fact that their anatomy isn't entirely messed up

I'm pretending that Endgame never happened and the Team got a happy ending after Summit.
I love this!

I've included Endgame, but I'm going to make a small mess of their "neat little ending"
Though, you might enjoy the wedding picture I did for the two of them a few weeks ago...

I VERY much hope that Wally was just taken by the Speed Force. I refused to watch the latter half of Season 2 (and still haven't) until I came up with a couple of ways to make the series have a happy ending.

lol well, on that note, just don't watch the last episode It'll sound like all's happyish. Though it won't show you the end of the Justice League's trial out in the east oshkosh of space... But yeah, it'll be happier than seeing the last episode! Or, wait until I get my story posted lol Promise I'll get it up soon

Okay. I'm actually doing an AU of Young Justice that ties into the mega crossover I'm doing with the friend who shares this account. Basically a ruinbreak (a species made up for this crossover) ends up crashlanding outside Mount Justice between Episodes 3 and 4, joining the team and being adopted by Batman and basically unraveling most of what went wrong in canon. Like he figures out that Red Arrow is a clone (he has that disorder where you see scents and Red Arrow's scent has the same tint to it that Superboy's does, indicating him being a clone) which will likely derail the Light's plan completely and gets a lucky shot in on Teekl negating the need to use the Helmet of Fate at all. We're in the process of figuring out how to deal with Wally (I'm the only one of our power trio of fic workers who's seen the series so I'm in charge) but we are having Impulse's attempt to travel back in time not only do that but land him in an alternate timestream where he wasn't needed in the first place; he...takes it rather badly.

Ooooh See, something like that would've been handy to take down the "light" lol Cool, sounds like alot of thought's been put into it! But poor Bart, he's such a cute little kid

Yeah; fortunately Jaime picks up the pieces and gets him back to closer to his normal self...partially by getting Bart addicted to oldies cartoons and kids shows (both by real world standards and in universe).

Glad you do. Eventually their friendship develops into Speedbuggy romance...though not until Bart's gotten some therapy; God knows he needs it.

Yeah; he does. As much as I love Wally, I was so MAD at him for the way he treated Bart...even before we get even the slightest glimpse of how badly scarred Bart is.

Yeah, I kinda wish Artemis was there to slap him upside the head when he started being a grump just because of Bart (though, admittedly it didn't look that bad initially at Barry's house, just because him meeting Bart was rather funny). I also didn't like that being the only time we saw him and Bart together, so we don't really know if Wally was just in a bad mood or if they got over it. I mean, we can assume he did since Bart makes the comment about Wally getting him hooked on Chicken Wizzies---hinting that there'd been bonding time. But still, it'd have been nice to see Bart with family again. I love a few stories that I've found on fanfiction that have their bonding moments a little more spelled out just because the kid is such a sweetie!

Well, really if a kid hugs you, you don't shove him away in disdain. You say "Nice to meet you but can I get a proper introduction? Then I'm okay with the hugs." But yeah; I guess there was bonding off-screen. And about the stories; does one of them feature Bart having run out on a Civil War unit because...you know; the slavery portion.

when's the last time you heard a guy say that?? Hell, in my family it'd probably have been an "Oof! The hell? Get off! *pry loose and put distance*" And yes, that is one the stories that I found very touching. Why? Are you the writer?

Point taken. And no; it's just one of my favorites too.
On another note, can you offer some advice on how to derail the Light's plan for the Justice League? We're definitely having the reveal that Red Arrow is a clone happen early in Season 1 (the first time he shows up at Mount Justice actually) but I think it might be best to hit each aspect of the plan.

Hmm.... I'll think on it, I might actually have to go back and rewatch episodes to find where I think t their flaws were first lol But I'll try to help if I can ^_^

Thanks and take your time. The only thing besides revealing Red Arrow as a clone that the ruinbreak is definitely gonna do is dart Chesire with knock-out darts when she threatens to reveal Artemis' ancestry.

Take your time; the cross-over is still in the working stages with everything that's included. In Season 2, the ruinbreak saves the Runaways from Luthor by convincing Bruce Wayne (as Batman) to take them in at Wayne Corp.

Great Picture! Never believed for even a second that Wally is dead. I think he was sent forward in time, the effect used in his last scene is just like the zeta beam effect.

Anything's possible! lol Or he could've been sent into the past I currently have no idea other than previous written history on Wally had him getting zapped before he could become the fastest speedster so voila!

I know there are naysayers that claim the creator of Young Justice said the Speed Force doesn't exist in his show (which is weird; they have aliens, magical powers, Egyptian dieties and their priestesses, and a boy who can use astral projection to construct a 50 foot giant out of light that packs all the punch of a flesh-and-blood giant - a nice twist on the old theme, BTW), but everyone else gags them with Arachnae's leftover webbing and dreams of the never-realized Season 3 including the introduction of the Speed Force, the return of Wally, and the most heartwrenching reunion since Rapunzel met her biological parents!

Considering everything else they've hinted at and put into their show, I think they'd be morons to say that there's no speed force. The problem they'll have if they ever brought Wally back, is Linda.

Linda's his wife from the comics, but considering the way they've portrayed Artemis in the show, my story could work perfectly and keep everyone appeased

DisneyThorn92 In reply to InTwilight [2013-09-22 15:59:44 +0000 UTC]
Oh. You wouldn't necessarily keep faithful to Linda's existence; plenty of DC animated projects leave out or skip over various romances from the comic books.

That does beg the question; when would Wally have time to meet Linda? He's been with Artemis since Season 1, and it's not like the Speed Force has its own dating service. In fact, what's it like for him in the Speed Force? Is he stuck running around and around in that circle forever? Poor guy must be bored out of his mind by now.
