D&D rocks my socks! That sounds pretty much like me in highschool, except there weren't many other people like that at school (small school). That, and I was the only one in my class who took a third year of Japanese... //Vo\\\

AWWW I have to learn Japanese on my own TT^TT they don'd offer it at my school but 2 naboring schools did, and 3 teachers spoke Japanese but no one taught a class, I spoke with friends but I'm still a novice, though I love to practice anytime I get a chance to, I plan on takeing a trip to Japan some time in the future If I can T^T

They just recently killed the Japanese program at my old high school so I'm thinking of tutoring my little brother, who's already taken a year. I'm not as good as I'd like to be, but I know more than most of my other friends, so I'm proud of that. I would LOVE to go to Japan, but... well, first of all college is in the way for now, and second of all I don't have the money... //T.\\\

Yay, I understood! It's truly terrible, though. My first ever job was tutoring Japanese to two underclassmen who also happened to be some of my best friends. I got paid 10 bucks an hour for it. Nothing to sneeze at. //^o\\\

that's impressive I must say, I used to work at a nushurey for plants, and there was a lady who spoke only Japanese, and the only thing I could under stand was "aka" "piman" so I figured she wanted some red bell pepers, thank gad I got that right OvvO

Haha. I spent about half of the tutoring time going off on tangents about manga, though... I got both of them into Bobobobo Bobobo that way (for some reason, about half of my friend think it's the stupidest series ever, but I think it's hilarous...) and we talked a lot about Death Note and Host Club... And we came up with a Japanese song about getting on and off the bus that I have since forgotten, but... Good times. We met in a meeting room at the library and there were automatic window-shades that we spent a good amount of time playing with... All in all I probably wasn't a very responsible teacher... //^w\\\
