Shadow is just nothing but a black cloak and thunder isn't a person, so I guess they could be male but since they aren't really human looking, we won't really know.

A lot of these cards seem kind of redundant... I mean, I guess "storm" and "rain" are different, but... couldn't they just have had one card for the both of them? Some of the cards seem really obscure...
