Hooo boy, this needs some context.
So, I have my headcanon for the design of the Mane 6, to make them look a bit different from each other.
For Applejack that she is the tallest one from them and also a bit more muscular than the others (because of her work (horse) pony heritage). Also the really fuzzy hooves that I draw for her for a while, inspirited by clydsdale horses, but that goes for her whole family.
So compared to her Twilight was smaller. Until she got the alicorn treatment and gained some height. Applejack still a bit taller, but at least they are somewhat on the same eye level.
And that's why this AppleSpark drawing happened (kinda). Also because I just really want to draw my poor rare ship more, cos I love it and I'm stuborn and I will go down with it.XD
More way than the other, as you will hopefully see in the near future. But more on that later.
On a side note actually, it rarely can be seen but Twilight also have a bit of a fuzzy hoof, because in my headcanon she and Shining has some work horse heritage too, through their father's line.
