Maud Pie helping out a pack of diamond dogs.

Maud found herself in a similar situation Rarity was once in, captured by diamond dogs. She managed to get herself free, by helping out the dogs in their mining endeavors with her knowledge of gems and rocks. After some time she formed an unexpected allyship with them.

This pack of diamond dogs is different from Rover's (the one that captured Rarity), as there are many different packs around Equestria.

There's currently not really much to the dogs in this image, but for now their names are 'Buddy' (the old looking one), 'Milo' (the german shepherd) and 'Rocky' (the dark colored one, who is their leader).
