I like how i drew the bird's feathers like fish scales... peacock feathers always did remind me of scales though. The colors are a bit pastel-y for my taste, but I like how they work.Related content

thanks, I've been trying to make things seem a little collage-like lately... the whole, 'cut out' theme, but still to keep some sort of dimensionality to it ( so its not all entirely flat)

I like this take on "pastel"--not the powdery colors people usually think of when that word is said, but rather the vibrant hues that one finds in actual pastel drawings.
