I wish Hilde was in the series more. I really like her character design, not to mention she was drummed up a lot in the advertising for the series.

It turns out much better for her than I thought it would. In the original series, the Yamato was forced to destroy most of planet Gamilas and the Gamilas people. In this version, most of the Gamilas survive, including Hilde.
Now we have the new series with the Comet Empire-Gatlantis fortress starting in February! Exciting!
