This is my entry for the contest of the shining pokemon. It was where we had to draw a shining version of a original pokemon. It could be any colors we desired so long as it differed from its original counter part.

I decided to draw a shiny Charizard because I thought it would be a challenge to myself since I don't draw Charizards very often. Hopefully she is original because I do not know what a real shiny Charizard looks like. So, I thought of the color scheme on my own and I hope it is liked. So you could see the difference I drew a normal Charizard in the background. She is white with purple wings. It has red eyes and a red flame on her tail yet she produces blue flames(which is the hottest form of fire I might add). And she is gray where a normal Charizard is yellow.

Now for the story. The title is what it is because all these Charizards are flying during mating season. I think I will write a paragraph describing it in story form, because I feel like it, so please read it.

Among the mountains that lay within a warm mist and where it reeks of ash, Charizards gather. These creatures have traveled from vast distances, wild and untamed from humans, in order to find their mates. It is a scorching day as the sun burns with no clouds to block its firelight, making the Charizards more heated. Roars echo through the mountains, mating calls of these creatures. Some take off following another, trying to impress the one they chase. A lone white dragon arrives, spreading her wings out and blowing cool blue flames. Her look is confident, full of arogence as she waits for a male she is sure will presue her. The sun lighting her body to catch others eye as she waits to be claimed by a worthy male.

So in general, a confident Charizard is looking for a mate, arogant of her unique colors. She is rather confident to find a mate cause she feels she is special. I just felt like adding a story to it, though hopefully the story can be seen in the picture.

This was drawn in pencil then inked for neatness. Then it was colored by photoshop. I can't wait to see what the club thinks of it, I am a new member and hope that the others like it.
