Description
True ColorsIt had been nearly a week since the incident with the cluster, Everything seemed normal at the Wakeman residence, all except the fact that Ace had finally been let out of the lab, and was allowed to glimpse the earth from inside the house he had been watching T.V. and had become interested in the planet, he didn’t know such a paradise still existed, what he didn’t tell anyone was that he wanted out, into the world, more then that, he wanted power over this small world, they were at their technological prime, there own technology almost rivaled the advances of the Irken Empire.
He went back down to the lab walking to his ship which was starting to come together again, today was the day he was waiting for, the ship would get a power source and he would use it to power his replicator. He turned to see Nora and Jenny Wakeman coming into the room, Jenny carrying a huge solid looking box, around five feet at every angle. Ace knew this to be the slightly unstable and radioactive power source for his ship. The containment device was in the back, and finally after a bit of maneuvering the core of the large box was inserted into the generator, and it was sealed and the ship then powered up.
Thought it was not completely repaired many of the lesser systems were up. Ace got into the ship grinning to himself as he looked over the power reading, he had been thinking upon a way to escape, if it were just the doctor he could do it, but with Jenny, Robot Boy, and the other robots he had seen in the lab, he knew he needed some help. He had salvaged quite a bit of the technology from the cluster robot and he had been installing it into his ships jump deflector. The device which would crate instant short jump in space bending reality itself till two points in the universe touched and a portal between them could be opened. These devices were what made the Irken Empire so powerful. A jump device could allow this type of fighter to move directly into an enemy fleet before they could even be fired up. He planned to punch a hole right through subspace and escape the lab without needing the ship, unfortunately the dampening field which was to keep the cluster out was sufficient to keep him in.
Later that night, after the tests on the generator were completed, Ace snuck out of his room he moved silently. He hadn’t notice someone had already spotted him as he made his way to his ship. He quickly hooked up the replicator to the generator but before he could do anything he felt a hand on his back, he jumped forward preparing to attack when he realized it was Xj9 he sighed and asked a quite rude tone in his voice.
“Aren’t you support to be recharging?” She put a hand on her hip speaking in a defiant tone.
“Aren’t you suppose to be in your little box of a room?” He laughed as did she, they had done this before, they had developed an insulting relationship. He was rude by nature, and she merely adapted to him, she was the only one who had been able to really make friends with the alien, and to him, she seemed like a lumbering metallic sister. Defending him on many occasions she was very understanding when he got into scuffles. She looked down at the replicator and wondered what he was doing, before she could ask Ace had an answer.
“I am getting a few more things ready for my departure.” She frowned, she had made a new friend, one from another planet none the less, she had done this before but this time, she knew when he left, it would be the last she would see of him, little did she know he wasn’t talking about leaving the planet. He had no intension of leaving, he liked this new world, and had seen from T.V. just how evil the planet was, this was something he could harness and refine. He even had a plan of fighting one of its mightiest heroes, he pulled out a scanning device and spoke in a light tone.
“Jennifer” which sent chills down Jenny’s mechanical spine since only Vexus called her that. “I was wondering if I could scan you.” The next the he knew a powerful slap went across his face.
“Pervert!” He regained himself and looked to Jenny who was now facing the other way, arms crossed over her chest. He flailed franticly as he tried to recover himself “No, its not like that, its so I have something to remember you by when I return to Irk.” She turned giving him a skeptical look as she spoke.
“Not an internal scan right?” He nodded rubbing has face as he spoke in a questioning tone.
“Why would I want an internal scan?” Jenny shrugged not having an answer for that question then nodded. “Okay, I guess, but only external.” He held up the scanner. “Okay.” Though he had told her it was external, it wasn’t, he was planning on getting this later, but now was a better time as ever since Dr. Wakeman was nowhere to be found. A green rippling light shot forward running down Jenny after it finished Ace turned and grinned evilly chuckling to himself as he walked back to his room the replicator fully charged and the scanner in hand.
“Well I should be in my room, goodnight Jennifer.” He closed the door to him room and locked it as he put the replicator on the desk plugging in the scanner. Now he would have a few days to work on his new “Project.”
It had only been a day but he was confident that it was time, he rigged the scanner up, the change to the jump drive had been made, and he was ready to bring a couple helping hands into the world, he looked around and checked the halls, then began the replicating sequence, it started with the feet a white light shoot down like a pencil that began to draw the first child of Ace writing the very essence of the creation on a molecular level. It continued going at an alarming rate, only a minute had passed and it had created all but the head.
When it finished a tall robotic girl stood it then began replicating a second, Ace picked up something off the bed and held it to the first ones back saying a few words. “With this pak, I give your shell its soul.” This was something that was an tradition that hadn’t been seen in the universe in a thousand years since the forging of the new Irken empire. He placed the pak on her and he could hear the drill in the pak cutting through the metal of the robots back, a second later the robotic girl fell to the ground holding herself. He spoke shallowly as he watched her.
“What is your name child?” She growled before turning around grabbing Ace by the neck and lifting him into the air.
“I am Sally, hello father.” A second later she dropped him and looked to the replacator as the second robot was finished Ace swiped up the second pak muttering what he had said before and pressed it to her back, this time when the robot was activated she let out a world shattering scream, a few seconds later there was a knock at the door, the second robot got up, Ace looked to her.
“I will call you Sarah… you shall be my little princess, now we must leave quickly.” Sarah nodded, Sally glared at Sarah clenching her fist. Sarah walked passed Sally smugly right as the door to Ace’s room exploded, projectiles of wood flew through the air bouncing off Sarah and Sally. Ace hiding behind the two as the wood few. Standing in the gaping hole that had just been created was jenny, looking in at the two new robots that resembled her so much.
Jenny was first to speak stuttering when she did.
“Wh…whats going on here…” Ace walked out from behind the robots.
“Its simple my dear, there are your sisters, Sarah, and Sally, they will be helping me take over this planet.” Jenny stepped back as Sarah walked forward standing face to face with Jenny there noses almost touching as she spoke.
“Hello, I am your doom.” Sarah jumped up twisting as she did sending a kick into her “sister’s” head that sent Jenny flying back through a wall skidding to a stop at a concrete pillar. A second later Sarah was standing over her damaged sibling and changed her arm into gun of sorts.
“It was nice knowing y…” she was cut off, as a hand ripped through her back crushing her pak as the hand exited the other side a flurry of metal, plasma, and oil flew onto Jenny, Sarah’s face was twisted, it looked to be in extreme pain, that only lasted a moment as a blade sliced through it, the hand that still had the crushed pak receded through the bot which was kicked out of the way landing limply the upper half of the robot head falling to the ground.
Standing with the crushed pak still in hand was Sally. A pleased grin rode Sally’s face as the dropped the pak and looked to Jenny. Jenny has just seen something more horrible then she could ever imagine, and now looked up at the one who did it. She scrambled back against a wall as Sally got closer.
“Hello sister, I am Sally, and I will be the one to kill you.”
Ace had watched all of this happen, he could hardly believe it, his own creation had killed another, he had no time to waste, by now the ever resourceful Nora Wakemen would have a plan to stop his new robot. He picked up the replacator and ran for the ship. Sally had Jenny in a bind, and used it to her advantage grabbing Jenny by one of her pigtails and picking her up before slapping her across the face the robotic pigtail ripping away from her head.
Jenny landed and then felt a kick at her stomach spinning through the air but landed on her feet a gatling cannon coming from her arm. She aimed at Sally, but couldn’t bring herself to fire. Sally on the other hand had nothing holding her back and sent a punch into the gatling gun the barrels crumpling like tin cans metal flying in all directions as she took Jenny by the neck. Before she could destroy her, a larger robot walked up slamming Sally in the head with a thick metal arm. Sally slid back across the ground and landed by Ace who spat an insulting tone at her.
“You could of handled this if you didn’t kill Sarah.” He then activated the jump drive and ran though the portal as it opened. One field generators protecting the base had been destroyed and Ace knew they must leave now. Sally looked to Jenny then saw the other robot coming at her, she changed her arm into the blade she favored. As he attacked and sliced his torso in two crushing its head with her foot as the upper half landed. She then walked through the portal it closing a few seconds later a timer sounding from the ship. Jenny got up and walked to robot boy. and dropped to her knees picking up the crushed parts and screaming curses of Ace. The time continued to count down. Dr. Wakemen ran in having to yell over the crying.
“You need to get that ship out of here!” Jenny didn’t move for a moment, when she did she walked up the ship, inside she saw a timer, there was less then ten seconds, she knew it was to large to get out of the lab that quickly she ran quickly grabbing Dr. Wakemen and what she was able to quickly get of robot boy and ran out of the basement, as she made it to the front door the ship exploded sending her, Dr. Wakemen, and scattered bits of debris out into the street.
The power system hadn’t detonated, if it had, Jenny would have been the only survivor, near three hundred miles away Ace stood looking down on a city. He couldn’t understand why Sally would of killed Sarah. he looked to the robot who was cleaning off her hand in a nearby stream. He walked over looking down at her.
“So will you kill me too?” He spoke shallowly not knowing how she was going to react, what she did surprised him.
“Why would you even say that Daddy, I wouldn’t kill you.” She looked up at him from where she kneeled looking ready to cry. He chose his next words carefully as he spoke he had a hard tone.
“Then why did you kill her?” She looked down. “I didn’t like her, there is only enough room for me as your daughter, and she was gonna kill my sister…I will be the one to kill Jenny.”
Back at the Wakemen house the first had been put out, Nora walked with Jenny at her side, the lab had been almost completely destroyed, it would be no problem since there were lower basement levels full of replacements and backups of everything, but robot boy had been destroyed, along with most of the recent work she had been doing. She looked to Jenny who was still carrying part of the little robot, his decapitated body had changed into toy mode. Nora looked to Jenny.
“If we can find his lower body, there is a good chance that we can recover a backup file of his consciousness. But will need time to rebuild the lab before we can do anything for him.” Jenny nodded, she had watched Sally destroy him and the other robot girl to. Why had she been so cruel, she killed not only her enemies, but her allies. Dr. Wakemen knew they had to locate Ace quickly, and had several dozen repair robots flying around the lab.
Ace and Sally had headed down towards the city, Ace not seeing a reason for it walked as he was undisguised, Sally fallowing like a dog at his heels not letting him get more then twenty feet at a time from her. Ace had been programming the paks since he had created the devices. He had built them from parts replicated one at a time, he had been very careful when doing it using the outlet in his room to power it, it hadn’t been enough to replicate anything big, or charge the replacator he had tucked tightly under his arm, using it as he did had drained it to about a forth power. He knew couldn’t replicate another robot. He had been planning on killing or deceiving Jenny if possible and taking over the lab. From there he could make an army of robots.
He grumbled as he looked back at Sally. She had ruined his plan, but she was more like him then he knew. When he had programmed her pak he had added some of his own memories to increase her combat ability. But she had also taken on some of his emotions, and her programming was exceeding its original expectations. She could do anything she wanted really, she was unique compared to her sister who would of obeyed her programming to the word since she had none of Ace‘s memories. They entered the town and walked down the middle of the street people not seeming to care about them much.
“These humans intrigue me, they do not run, as if they are numbed to the abnormal.” Sally was to busy running from window to window looking at everything, Ace had walked into an intersection. a huge 18 wheeler rolled down the road, when the driver saw the green midget ahead he honked, but wasn’t about to turn or stop. Ace could only look as the truck came at him, at the sidewalk a portal opened and out came three people looking as the truck was about to hit the alien.
In a split second it happened. The truck might as well have slammed into a brick wall as its center arched into the air at being stopped so fast. A moment later it exploded Ace standing in the smoke a tall figure standing next to him a hand extended the three new onlookers could see only outlines in the smoke. Light reflecting off of Ace’s eye causing a glow one of the three walked forward, the tallest of the group he spoke in a rusty Irken dialect to Ace.
“Ey mon, what’s the big idea, your suppost to be dead.” Ace looked up at the creature surprised to see a skeleton wearing a robe but spoke cleanly in the human language he had been using.
“And just who are you to tell me I should be dead?” He heard a rough laugh as the tall creature spoke and raiser his weapon, a scythe into the air.
“Why little mon, I am da grim reaper, I have come for your soul.” He swung the blade but before it could touch Ace Sally had moved in front of him and grabbed the blade. There was a huge blast of energy sending the reaper flying back leaving Ace standing next to Sally who was towering above him. Grim had landed in pieces at the sidewalk and he was slowly pulling himself together, the next to speak was another of the strangers.
“Grim!” The person said in an obvious feminine voice that seemed to be deprived of emotions. “We were support to see someone get ran over by a truck, make with the chaos.” Grim stood up glaring down at the girl adjusting his left hand, the girl had slightly pink-pale skin, her hair was blond and almost looked like horns in the hairstyle it was pulled up into. She was wearing a pink dress, beside her stood a boy with a red hat, a blue and white shirt, and some blue jeans, his nose was huge and had a finger in it to the disgust of everyone around. The boy spoke in a horribly annoying voice.
“Ya grim, you said there was going to be a dead alien.” Grim looked to the creature which had thrown him back.
“Oh come on Mandy how can I get dat little guy his bodyguard there isn’t alive, what can I do?” The girl who Ace guessed was Mandy sighed and grabbed the scythe fwacking Grim on his head with the lower handle.
“I’ll deal with this if death can’t handle it.” She ran at Sally swinging the scythe directly at her ability to destroy the robot.
The scythe never touched Sally the blade only cut air. The next thing the little girl knew she was flying through the air a kick having been sent to her gut, before she touched the ground several punches sent her flying across the pavement the scythe landing in the ground about twenty feet from where Mandy stopped. She got up wiping away some blood from the corner of her mouth the cuts covering her body healing as she stood.
A second later the robot girl towered above her. Sally swung, but Mandy jumped landing on her arm jumping again as Sally tried to grab her foot flipping and grabbed Sally’s head mid air and twisting it as she flew above the robot a horrid sound like bones breaking came from her neck as it was twisted completely around. As Mandy landed Sally dropped to the ground. Mandy began walking towards the scythe when Sally’s body began moving, she looked back as the robot stood up grabbing her head and twisting it around the horrid sound again cutting the air as it turned forward. Sally turned and grinned.
“Stupid human.” Mandy didn’t show any facial expression but did raise an eyebrow a questioning look on her face. They just looked at each other for a few seconds before Mandy began turning to make a dash for the scythe. Sally was there when she turned around leaning on the blade.
“Oh, do you want your little stick girlie?” She chuckled, and only seemed to anger Mandy.
While all of this occurred Ace had taken up the reapers weaponless state and pounced on him grabbing his head and jumping up landing on the ledge of the roof sitting like a cat holding the reapers skull at eye level as he talked to it.
“I know who you are.” Grim would of rolled his eyes if he had any.
“Boy, everyone knows who I am, its your time.” Ace grinned as .
“Seeing as you choose to embody yourself, and you haven’t got your weapon, I would think not, my species has been beating you back for thousands of years.” Grim frowned.
“But you haven’t been winning, everyone sees me, and its your time now.” Ace shook his head.
“I beg to differ, I’m not ready to die thanks.” Sally had picked up the blade and began walking towards Mandy holding the scythe over her shoulder before she could attack she head Ace yell to her and turned.
“Stop I have the leader, human child surrender or I shall destroy your master.” While Ace was talking Mandy had gotten close enough and jumped at Sally kicking her in the head a hand planted firmly on the ground as her body seemed to arch as Sally fell back the Scythe flying through the air and landing in Mandy’s hand as she stood over Sally ready to destroy the atonamatron. When the blade flew down it pierced Sally’s shoulder and she screamed out crying loudly this being her first experience of pain.
“You bitch, I’ll k…” Mandy kicked her in the head as she walked toward the building Ace was on. Mandy looked up at Ace straight in the eyes causing him to experience a type of fear he didn‘t think possible. When the girl spoke Ace almost jumped his senses returning from his most recent human encounter.
“Let him go.” Billy ran over to Mandy point up at Ace.
“Yeah Mandy’s the only one that can doom us all, doom us all, doom us all.” He continued until Mandy punched him in the nose it seeming to deflate.
Ace had no intension of letting the head go, he looked to Sally who was bleeding plasma and balling like a baby. The plasma spilled onto the concrete as blade had gone clear through her, and only the tip had entered the ground, but it seemed to be strong enough to hold her.
“I will let his head go under two conditions.” Mandy didn’t look in the mood to negotiate but spoke calmly. “What do you want?” Ace grinned.
“First, I want you to remove the blade from her.” He gestured to Sally who was trying to pull the blade from her body.
“And the second?” Mandy replied, Ace responding quickly.
“I want to live, I will not die by the reaper’ss hand.” Mandy thought for a moment then nodded.
“Fine, but give me Grim’s head first.” Ace unnervingly tossed the head down to the girl who as she caught it tossed it over to the headless body with enough force to knock it down. And walked over to Sally sounding angry.
“Stop your blubbering.” Sending her foot into Sally’s chest quite hard sliding her down the blade as she pulled it out of the robot girl the blade covered in the green plasma that covered the ground and the area around the cut. Mandy tossed the blade to grim who’s head was where it belonged and he raised it into the air.
“Now I reap dis sucker.” Mandy glared at grim who took a step back in caution. “I made a deal with him, if you plan on breaking a deal, then how do I know you wont break ours?” He grumbled a bit and stood down, Sally who was now sitting up still crying and grasping her shoulder where the blade had breeched looked to Ace who jumped off the roof grabbing onto a pole with one hand sliding around it landing lightly and running to Sally. He still had the replacator and set it down targeting sally who sat up knowing what to do as she bit her lip the white stream coming out and entering the cut. A few seconds later it had repaired the wound. Sally grabbed Ace into a hug and cried only to be shoved off by Ace.
“Quiet.” Ace stood up turning to the trio. “You, evil earth child Mandy, you are powerful, I think I have a proposition you might be interested in.”

Cool, plasma- I like your story so far and I strongly encourage you too keep working on it. I'm not sure of any errors, none stood out at me this time- though I was too busy reading to look for them. like I said though, good work.
