Soren walked at Ike’s side through the woods, admiring the wildlife while trying to understand his commander’s sudden need to depart from the campsite. The bluenette’s workload hadn’t been particularly stressful, as it usually was when he decided to depart into the forest. The only reason the mage could infer was that his commander needed to have a word with him privately. Hence why they were alone and now deep in the woods.

Ike’s unusual silence was beginning to worry the spell caster. It was rare for the swordsman to spend so long in his own thoughts, and the mage was beginning to question the severity of what he was pondering. When the silence became unbearable, Soren asked, “You wish to speak to me, Commander?”

The bluenette smiled coyly and yanked the young mage into a deep kiss while maneuvering into a nearby bush. For once, the spell caster was taken off guard, but he wasn’t for long. As they tumbled into the grass, he pulled Ike down on top of him and kissed him harder. Their passion intensified, and it wasn’t long before Soren’s robes were cast aside. The pale youth was laid bare before the object of his immense desire.

Ike smiled and stroked the wind master’s raven hair. “Talk tactician to me,” he ordered, stroking his companion’s cheek.

It took a moment for the mage to process the request. He knew that tactical advice couldn’t be the only reason he was now in a bush a mile away from camp. It was obvious that Ike wanted more.

And Soren knew exactly how to direct him, as he always did. “You need to remove the outer defenses and seize the territory,” he replied, surprised at how his voice didn’t falter in the intimacy of the situation.

The commander chuckled as he cast a glance down at his own body. “Don’t you know the lower regions are hard to cover?”

Soren nodded, his breathing erratic with anticipation. “True… You have to be swift to make it in unchallenged.”

There was a brief pause as Ike removed the last of his own clothing. “Then go swiftly,” he replied, placing the mage on his hips.

Soren did his best to comply, positioning himself as best as he could, but he couldn’t help but wince. “Arh, the opposing forces are larger than expected!”

The swordsman caressed the youth’s cheek before any tears could fall. “Ready your weapons,” he commanded, and then softly added, “You’ll be fine.”

The mage allowed himself a moment to adjust to the intrusion. Once he felt comfortable, he replied, “All is quiet. Attack when ready.”

Ike nodded and carefully began his motions. Noticing Soren’s facial expression, he asked, “Are you okay? Your numbers are dwindling.”

Suppressing a groan, the mage opened a blood red eye to glare down at his commander, “Reinforcements are coming. Attack while your enemy is weak.”

The bluenette laughed and rolled so that he was on top while he continued his rhythm at a steady pace. “They’re no match for me, wouldn’t you say?” he asked, panting.

“Don’t overestimate yourself!” Soren warned before he lost his voice. “Give it your all!” he commanded, meeting Ike in their shared motions. The swordsman could no longer reply, the friction between them robbing him of his voice. Moments later, their ecstasy ended, leaving both breathless and satisfied.

The bluenette rolled a final time, allowing the tactician to rest on top of him. As his breathing slowed to normal, Ike whispered, “I didn’t realize you were so good at role-playing, Soren.”

The mage sighed contently and met his lover’s gaze. “Who was playing?”

The commander chuckled and met the spell caster’s lips in a fervent kiss. Soren gladly returned the physical contact and granted the larger male entry. In their moment of passion, Ike forgot to reply.
