Ah, lovely, dandylions!
The background is a nice finish to the macro, though if I were to do a pic on dandylion seeds floating around, what kind of settings would you recommend? high speed cam or long exposure or something else?

Thank you. That photo was done on 250/1sec and Fstop at 5.6 and 400 ISO. The background is blurred due to the macro and the focal point(I'm rusty on my camera terms) You can have on longer exposure but photographing outside especially macro runs the risk of blurred images.

The focus of the image gives the viewer a focal point which helps with the composition of this image, I like the overcast colour tone of the image, but I feel you could of brighten the image abit more or fooled around with the levels bar. Good work you should keep trying with marco photography, it's hard but well worth it.

It is not as well lit as it could be, but I like it.
I like how the focus is on just a few seed parts. It gives a different view of the flower, rather than just the outside.
It is good that you put this against a dark background.

Thanks but I did take the photo outside, I haven't being able to find any decent studio set ups so I take most of my marco outside.
