Will she ever learn? One word: No. 
Aren tries to explain the futility of Candie's efforts to get Zim to like her, and wonders why Candie, being an irken herself, would even have such motivation. But Candie is a simple creature, and dosn't get it, so Aren decides to drop the issue.

I dunno, Its just part of her original design and its become so much a part of her character that I havn't gotten rid of it. I just sort of go with the lame story that she must have seen an alien with hair and liked the look and got implants or something... I dunno... Just 'Cuz I guess
