its actually pretty simple. There's four layers, the bg color or texture, then the image you want under the "glass", then the "shine", and then the frame. The basic shape of the shine is actually white, but I just select that and erase it, then fill it with white fading gradient and paste, mess with the opacity, and soften the edges a bit. Looks just like a glass button =3
