“Where am I?” I look around, but all I see is white.
“Am I dead? But if I were dead could I still feel? Wait! Can I feel at all?”
I try to move my arms, but they where locked in place. “Am I dreaming? This world seems all to real!”
I close my eyes tight and try to wake up. Nothing. I try to stand. Looking down, I start to laugh. Quietly at first then gradually louder until I fall to the cushy sponge floor. I continue laughing hysterically, like I can’t stop. Was there something wrong with me? Something felt odd. A sharp pain tore through me and suddenly I sat up. It was all clear now. The laughing. The white. Why I couldn’t move my upper body.
I had to get out. No one could help me. They could try, but it would help.
Another sharp pain. Stronger now.
I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate. A short flash of black and the flap of wings told me something. “I’m not going any where.”
A sat back down in my little cell and tried to distract myself from what they did. I tried to distract myself from the pain. The Insanity. The white. From myself.
I had to get out but at the same time, I had to stay. Because, no one, knows what it’s like to be trapped. Like a bird in a cadge, but instead in your mined. In the insanity. In a straitjacket.
