So let me explain about this, this drawing is suppose to take place way WAY at the end, by that time Danny is looking down at her with contempt since he now knows of Ember's betrayal and they are both in the Plasmius Thermos so that they can at least fix their relationship.

Ember wants his forgiveness but in the end... Danny hold all the cards.
