I was drawn to this piece because it resembles the title of my most recent poem, "Can't you hear it?" - and then I realised that the theme, too is exactly the same. Crazy, eh? Talk about co-inky-dinks.

We've both written it very differently though - yours is from life so it has a lot more feeling and emotion methinks. Very powerful imagery, and the shortness of the piece shows how quickly it all happened. Very good, I'm just sorry that the inspiration had to come from something so tragic.

Wow...that is amazing! My title came from the song, "Helena" by My Chemical Romance. That truly is amazing...wow.

None of my friends really did get in a car crash, it was a thought after listening to the song, "Helena" by My Chemical Romance and there's a part where the song says, "When both our cars collide" and that's what it made me think of. Thanks again for the comments!

Oh I'm glad it didn't really happen I find that music is a great source of inspiration for poetry. It can be interpreted in so many different ways, you can produce almost anything by listening to a single song or just an instrumental.

I know, sometime's it's sad to hear someone important died for someone. But then again...we're always someone to someone else.

Music is a great inpiration and a great instrument to be used. I know I love music about as much as I love...something I love and it's just amazing what it can do to inspire someone.
