If you're like me and a die hard Metal Head, and enjoy a little deathcore and Suicide Silence like I do, then this is for you! If not, I'd strongly recommend you to not view this work as you may be offended by the strong language and possibly suggestive theme. ANYWAY, I drew this on paper last year, and decided to go ahead and bring it to digital life. It came out quite nicely if I do say so myself! On a more serious note, you don't know how upset I was when I heard the news that Mitch died . It was like getting hit in the gut since I knew he'd never be making music again, as well as never being able to see his young daughter grow up and be in her life. But his legacy lives on through Eddie Hermida (Lead vocals), Mark Heylmun (Lead Guitar), Alex Lopez (On Drums), Chris Garza (Guitar), and Daniel Kenny (Bass guitar). A lot of people don't know, but Suicide Silence has done a lot for the community and for people less fortunate than people like us, such as donating gifts to orphaned children on Christmas. Mitch as well as the current band are pioneers in the efforts to prove that Heavy Metal and sister genre's of music are much much much more than screaming and growling, and that it's not about what people call "devil worship". This piece is in honor and memory of Mitch Lucker, and a salute to Suicide Silence.
