Description
Everyone in the room could feel it. The pure raw static and tension that was choking all those within its range. Silence so loud that every far off sound, every scream and shout and gunshot could be heard as if it was within the office itself. There was no wind, no clouds above but still, one could tell that this was a battle that could have been fought on the bloodiest of fields or the most terrible of snow assaulted mountains. This was a fight that could have taken place in the eon-gone past when irkens still used iron and steel to fight their wars.
This was a battle that few ever saw and fewer still lived to remember. This was a battle of warriors, of true skill and strength and power. This was a battle that one could never be taught to win, or shown in a class or watch on a film. These kinds of battles could only be witness, and father still, only won by one who truly understood the nature of war and death.
And now, as the small crowd of people looked upon them, they all knew in some way that they were about to watch a fight which would be one to go into the history books.
Here, in this place of pain and suffering and insanity and death, the two most dangerous and vicious and psychopathic irken’s in the Irken Empire would do battle and, unless fate decided otherwise, it’d be to the death.
Sideos’s eyes narrowed as his insane, but somehow focused, mind began to make miniature calculations on how best to kill his opponent. His voices echoed in his brain, arguing on whether Kaiser would fall for certain traps or not before he finally moved into his stance with his arms loosely held at his chest, his razor-clawed fingers held tightly together, but curled slightly while he move his legs apart and bounced lightly on his tip toes. A sly, dangerous smile grew on his face, and his sharpened teeth flashed menacingly.
Kaiser on the other hand had already formulated his plan of attack and several back-up plans just in case. He had been watching Sideos fight and had taken into his accounts the insane irken’s mannerisms, thus, he was sure he could simply take the cocky purpled eyed moron with a few precise hits. The ex-lieutenant moved into his own fighting stance, with one fist tightly clenched and held near his chin and another, looser, held a little lower. His legs also moved apart but he remained perfectly still and tense, ready to spring into his attack with full force. His expression remained determined and emotionless, only his eyes shining with a deep hatred for his opponent.
The others looked on, all of them eager to see these two fight, after all, when would they ever get to see something like this again? The two doctors, Klik and Greep, were constantly taking notes, even though each was sure they’d probably never get to present them in person.
Neep was the only one who didn’t seem interested in the fight, with the possible exception of Tika who was growling angrily and occasionally snapping at Klik whenever he seemed to do anything that annoyed her.
Neep frowned and turned to the others, scanning them for someone who would listen, “This is stupid! We’re just wasting time when we should be getting out!”
Gar turned to him growling, “Shut up! Don’t you realise how important this is?”
Neep looked to the shorter irken in annoyed confusion, “What? It’s just a fight between two idiots who can’t realise-”
“No!” Gar quickly cut in with a sharp snarl before turning back to the two fighters, “This decides who gets to lead us out of here… this decides who gets to name himself the best of all of us…” He grinned, “This is a fight that’s more than just that though, this is rivalry of a far deeper sense.”
Sirra watched on with a mixed worry and anticipation. Both Sideos and Kaiser were about to tear each other to shreds, which would be an awesome sight indeed, and yet she was worried for Kaiser, if he became too weakened or even defeated, she wouldn’t be able to go off into the stars with him…
Her eyes narrowed and her fists clenched as she whispered to herself, “Come on Kaiser… beat him…”
Back on the battlefield that had been created by the waiting and tense warriors, Sideos grinned a little wider, “Ready to die, Kai-boy?”
“Not before you, strudelkopf,” Kaiser knew that the insult was weak, but he hoped Sideos wouldn’t understand it and would think it was very offensive.
Luckily for him, he was right.
Sideos growled and pounced at him, immediately going to stab him with his claws, however, Kaiser easily blocked and swung a fist at Sideos’s face, which quickly hit him and knocked the irken spinning. Yet, Sideos fell to the ground and spun around in a sweep kick, knocking Kaiser off balance to which the purpled eyed irken quickly moved up again, using the spin of his sweep kick to aim a vicious high kick which Kaiser only just dodged.
A second later, Kaiser felt the thud of a palm smashing into his chest, but as Sideos tried to strike again, Kaiser caught his arm, and while using Sideos’s own lighting-fast momentum against him, let the irken move dangerously close while Kaiser smashed his fist into Sideos’s stomach.
The irken fell back in shock, the wind very nearly being knocked out of him. No one had ever managed to avoid his attacks before, never mind actually manage to hit him hard enough to cause him to take a moment.
Sideos looked up into Kaiser’s eyes and growled terribly at the horrible smug grin that began to appear on the blue eyed irken’s mouth.
For the first time in his life, Sideos began to think that perhaps he might, might have a problem beating this guy.
However, he was sure of his abilities, even if this would prove a challenge. He straightened up and smiled, while wiping some blood from his mouth. It felt a little odd, to be tasting his own blood instead of someone else’s.
“Nice… but I was going easy on you,” Sideos again moved back into his fighting stance.
“Funny,” Kaiser replied, “So was I.”
Over in the background, Sirra almost melted. “Oh great tallest that was hot.”
Neep cast a disapproving look back at the fighting irkens who were once again launching attacks at one another with lighting speed and immense strength. “I can’t believe we’re just letting this happen.”
“Zhut up!” Greep called out from where he was sitting, still taking notes like crazy, “Diz iz important rezearch!”
“The stances, the comments, they reveal so much…” Klik muttered in with his odd accent just poking though, “Do you think they could be showing a Bruyin complex?”
“Nein,” Greep replied, “Diz iz a battle of zupiriority, klearly a kase ov zee alpha male dominenze!”
“Who do you think will win?” Tamy mumbled to whoever was listening, which instantly replied to by all.
“Sideos!”
“Kaiser!”
“They’ll kill one another!”
Exactly who was saying what was unknowable, as the noise from the fighting and the whispered tones of those watching masked all identities in their voices. They were all completely captivated in the fighting of these two bloodthirsty warriors, not just because a fight was a fight, but because they could all tell that this was something they’d never forgot.
Sideos’s speed and agility was truly being put to the test, as Kaiser’s attacks came almost as swiftly as Sideos could dodge them.
…almost as swiftly. Sideos however knew Kaiser couldn’t hit him with full force even if he was trying. The purple eyed irken knew however that his attacks weren’t truly strong enough to knock Kaiser into a defence move. But it didn’t matter, he could just wear him out and eventually hit him with so many lighting fast blows that Kaiser would be defeated and topple like a stone.
Kaiser was wondering how such a skinny little runt of an irken like Sideos could ever manage to be, well, so good at fighting. He hated to admit it, he really did, but he’d had a fight of which he knew he wouldn’t come out of well. A part of him almost regretted having to kill Sideos, he’d be losing the first really worthy adversary in a long time.
One couldn’t say his adversary thought the same. He was actually wondering when this boring old irken would spring whatever trap he was trying to set up, so that Sideos may just weasel out of it and counter with, what he hoped, would be a killing blow.
Jabs and kicks and palm strikes and punches and blocks and spins and slashes all happened at a pace many in the room couldn’t admit to equalling without having to advert their eyes from showing their lies. To witness a fight, a real fight, was something very rare indeed. Not just a common drunken brawl or a heated scuffle, but a full of war of bodies, minds and spirits between two people.
Every effort in the fighters’ bodies was now being thrown into this battle, blood was dripping from their wounds, their muscles ached from the blows and Sideos was sure he felt a chip in his teeth.
The audience watched on, everyone’s mind wondering how the two could battle so fiercely without a victor emerging. They were so equally matched it was if they were made for this, made to face each other in this one room and battle until time itself stopped and all things ended and whatever life was left walked out on the existence, turning the light off behind them… and even then they’d probably still be there, battling in the dark.
Even Greep and Klik were slowing down on the note taking, completely caught up in the spectacle and the strange allure of the battle.
Neep seemed to be the only one who wasn’t captivated by the fight. “People please! We have to get out of here! We still might have some time to get out before the armada get here!”
“Neep!” Gar spun around, “If you interrupt this I swear I’ll break your neck.”
“This is stupid!” Neep growled back, “This is a barbaric show of stupidity! This is the most stupid thing we could possibly be doing right now!”
“We could be having some kind of cannibal sex orgy,” Sirra mused out loud, “That’d be pretty stupid.”
“We could be running into the walls with our pants on our heads,” Meg squeaked, “That’d be really stupid.”
“…THAT’S IT!” Neep called out, “I’m leaving! I can no longer stand you people!”
“Go then,” Gar uncaringly answered without taking his eyes away from the fighting, “See if you survive or find your way out alone.”
Neep looked like he was ready to explode, but he suddenly sighed and, after a second of looking around, pulled a chair out from the little fort-mountain and slumped down on it, “Why do I even bother, I’m talking to insane people… I’m an insane person…” He put his head in his hands, “This is so moronic.”
The fight was intensifying now, getting faster and with stronger hits. It seemed that both combatants were showing their strain as Sideos was getting a little slower and Kaiser’s hits a little less accurate. The two warriors were far too equal in their skill to defeat one another, and thus, the fight had turned into a battle of wills and attrition. Whoever backed down first would lose, and yet, each had a will forged of iron.
The fire of hate in their eyes burned far too brightly to ever admit to defeat…
Suddenly, Sideos caught Kaiser’s arms and attempted to snap them, but Kaiser quickly countered and they suddenly became locked with so little breathing space between them that each could feel the others body heat and panting breath on their faces.
The paused shocked everyone, it’d come out of nowhere and it’d put a sudden, abrupt pause to the mini-war that had been going on before their eyes.
Sideos smirked confidently and pushed towards Kaiser, “I must admit, you’ve got moves, Kaiboy, but you ain’t gonna win. I’m the best there is, ever, and I will not let some old, unfashionable rapist take my title.”
“I’ve eaten people like you for breakfast,” Kaiser growled and pushed back, “I swear I’ll kill you.”
“Not if I kill you first.” Sideos chuckled back, “I love the classic clichés, don’t you? So overdone but often so true.”
“I hate you.” Kaiser stated quite simply, “Is that clichéd enough for you?”
“You’re just saying that because you secretly want me.” Sideos grinned even wider and winked at him, “Oh I can see right through you, Kaiberino. Your passion for a piece of my hot self is burning through you,” Sideos shook his head in disappointment, “But I’m afraid I don’t do ugly old guys, or anyone for that matter, you’ll just have to go back to Sirrywirry.”
Kaiser was so angry he couldn’t even get his mouth to speak; he just glared at Sideos with more hate and power than a million burning suns.
The two suddenly broke out of their hold, each leaping back to get some space away from the other. Kaiser knew he had to relent in order to get a better attack plan formed, Sideos just wanted to get away from Kaiser’s ugly face.
Again, the battle lines were drawn and each soldier was ready to go back to war with full vigour.
The two tensed and the room grew silent again as the air crackled with static and hate and heat. Everyone wanted, no, needed to see who would emerge the victor from this battle of titans.
Then, without much warning, a very loud BOOM exploded from far above them and the entire compound shook with such sudden intensity, that the mini-fort collapsed into an avalanche which fell onto half of the group, including the two doctors and Tika.
The atmosphere was shattered faster than one could say ‘anti-climatic’ and, after he’d gained his balance again, Sideos looked up a the flickering lights on the ceiling and loudly growled out, “What the FUCK was that!?”
Gar blinked as he kicked a chair away from him and stood up, “It sounded like a 45T-Fritvena bomb detonating about three, maybe four miles above the prison.” He suddenly realised that he was getting stares of ‘what the?’ from everyone else, and so he added, “When you’re a tactician, they teach you how to recognise different bomb explosions. That one was obviously to let us know that they’re here.”
“That who’s here?” Meg squeaked out.
“The fucking army,” Tamy replied with a deep growl, “The re-enforcements have arrived.”
“Then we should get moving right away,” Kaiser suddenly announced, “Before they infiltrate too deep into the base to cut out our escape.”
Sirra had already rushed towards him and put her arms around his waist, “We should, we need to escape and find somewhere to hide… like under some bed covers maybe?”
Kaiser grinned down lustfully at the female, “We’ll have to bring some knives and whips, just in case…”
“Oh of course,” Sirra giggled, “We should make sure to test them as well.”
“WHOA there Mr Rushypants,” Sideos suddenly interrupted the two and jump in front of Kaiser while striking some ridiculously exaggerated fighting pose, “We have a fight to finish!”
“You’ll have to postpone it to another time,” Katz yelled out as the others dug the rest of the group out of the mini-avalanche, “And send me a ringside ticket by the way; I want to see who wins.”
“HEY!” Sideos yelped, “I WON!”
“No, you didn’t,” Kaiser said smugly as he and Sirra walked towards the rest of the group, “I was about to kill you.”
“Prove it!” Sideos yelled, pointing an accusing finger at the back of the blue eyed irken, “You can’t because you were gonna get that stick up your ass kicked further… up your ass… I HATE YOU!”
“Wait, you mean they’re already here?” Cello looked around in amazement at the others, “Why aren’t we all running for the exits?”
“Because,” Slert commented loudly, “What’s the point in missing a good battle?”
“True, that,” Scintille added as he pulled Greep out from under an office wall, “Besides, I’m itching to kill someone.”
Neep groaned and rubbed his eyes, “I know this will end badly… but we don’t have much choice.”
“You could always just surrender?” Klik offered, but he was only replied by harsh growls and a sort of bark from Tika.
“Amazink,” Greep commented, “In timez ov need, dhey gazher togezher in order do fight dheir kommon enemiez!”
“Oh shut up,” Vagnur cried out from where he and Kunst were moving towards the exit, “Seriously, just shut it. We just want to get out of this damned place and away from people like you!”
“You tell ‘em Vaggy,” Kunst grinned, “Stupid psychologists, they never shut up. They shouldn’t even call themselves doctors, they don’t even heal anyone! Well, not here they don’t.”
The others quickly began gathering around again, re-organising themselves into the crazy insane mini-militia they were. Greep and Klik were pushed to the middle with Scintille, Slert, Katz and Meg guarding them. Cello and Tamy followed behind Sideos with Neep and Gar just behind them and the couples all at the back.
And this was their group, the group made up of the most dangerous irken’s the asylum had to offer. Between them all they’d collectively done the worst of the worst possible actions and crimes in irken history, they were, literally, the united attributes of what defied the words ‘sick’ and ‘twisted’ and ‘monster’.
But yet, they also defined words like ‘bravery’, ‘determination’… ‘freedom’.
They were without bounds, unless of course one counted the self made boundaries of who and how they killed. They had no moral ground, they looked up to no one, they supported only themselves. They were the free from everything a normal irken would wish to be free from, but no irken would wish to be them.
Odd, in its own way. Freedom from the control of morals and respect and judgement, freedom from the mind, came at the price of being hated and hunted and feared.
Sideos quickly skipped over next to them as the group piled out into the corridor, heading for the nearest technicians staircase as they’d never be able to use the elevators now. Oh course, they all knew it’d take an extra half hour to climb up them as opposed to only two minutes by elevator, but they were likely to be shut down by now.
“Alright team!” He announced as he turned around to face the group whilst walking backward to keep his pace, “We’ve got a lot of ground to cover with heavy fire and bad vibes coming from all around, so I want you all on your most vicious, mass murdering behaviour for the rest of the trip.”
Kaiser blinked from where he and Sirra had dropped to the very back of the group, both in order to get some privacy and to get away from Sideos. “I think I hit him a bit too hard on the head, he’s acting weirder than usual.”
Sirra giggled, “Oh, he’s just nervous.”
Kaiser instantly turned with wide eyes to Sirra, “Nervous?”
“Well,” She replied softly, “Aren’t you? There’s a big chance we’re not going to make it, and even if we kill and murder and slaughter our way out, we’ll probably be blown apart in mid atmosphere by the navy and even if we somehow get past all that we’ll be hunted for as long as people remember us.”
Kaiser narrowed his eyes, he couldn’t deny he hadn’t thought of that and he was positive everyone here already had, even Tika had probably had a fleeting moment were she considered the life of running she’d have to take up. But he’d be damned if he’d let it stop him, he couldn’t ever back down, it was death or back into his cell, and he’d chose death over the cell any day.
And he knew that everyone here would too.

Ah, no need to thank me... you`re the one who wrote the awesomeness and posted it for us!
Yes, it will be one big party of blood-shedding awesomeness. Everyone`s invited!!
Oh, it`s just a few random things... like I think in one part (can`t remember where exactly) you put something like `she might forgot` instead of `she might forget`. Just random small things like that ^-^
I`ll be waiting patiently for that... and then on to the smeets!
And you know I`ll continue to comment on every Escape chapter to worship it *shifty eyes*

Schweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet I wish I could have been there to see that fight in person... and take bets on the outcome ^^
It was interesting way you choose to end the epic fight between Sid and Kai, with an explosion heralding what will be the beginning of an equally epic fight between the escapees and the forces of the Irken military. I would say that such a battle will result in blood bath... but that's probably (hopefully) an understatement. I wanna see enough blood spilled to fill an Olympic sized swimming pool... twice!

ALL BETS ON NOW
Ahem, and yus, the time for fighting the confused and scared doctors and security have gone, time for the big beefy boys in uniforms to show up and stomp some heads... well, unless the prisoners have summink to say about it.
...and we know they will
And yus, we're ordering in blood baths right now. Seriously, bath tubs of blood, the shipping costs are horrible but it'll be worth it for the SFX.
Thanks for reading and everything.

I LIKE CHEESEBURGERS.
And this chapter! Neep was so awesome. I feel kinda sorry for him! He just wanted to leave and yet Gar kept telling him to shut up. (Stupid Gar.)
Greep is also awesome too, and as usual, the epic rivalry between Kai and Sid was WONDERFULLY written and described in the best way that could ever be used for any kind of description. I also like how you described Freedom, because it emphasized the fact that freedom is basically the theme of this tale.
Well written, my dear! I can't wait to see more!
