The next morning, the entire unit lined up at the entrance to meet the new girl. X, Zero, and Axl had decided to wear their helmets, just until the new girl was settled in.
There was a long pause, and then, finally, the doors slid open, and in stepped the new Hunter.

Her body armor was cherry red, her cloth componants a darker red. Her body build was similar to X's, only feminine, and simplified. Her waist-length brown curls swished with her every move, and her long, dark bangs hung down to her nose.
The oddest parts of her design, however, were two small cat ears that poked out from above her bangs, and the long, thick tail that curled around her ankle.
She smiled, a single cat-fang hanging over her pink-glossed bottom lip, and brushed aside her bangs, revealing large, heavily-lashed brown eyes.
"Hello!" She chirped happily.
X soluted. "Welcome to the unit, Miss Hallie."
She looked at him for a moment, and then giggled. "Just call me Hallie, please." She said lightly. "Err, right." Said X softly. "Well, Hallie, my name is X, and this is Zero and Axl." Zero nodded slightly, and Axl waved. She walked over to Axl and Zero, and leaned in closer to Axl. Axl leaned back a bit, away from her. She stared for a moment, and then laughed. "Aren't you cute!" Zero tossed his head back laughing, and Axl stared down at his feet. X simply smirked. She walked over to Zero. "It's nice to meet you, Zero." She said in a more formal tone. He took her hand, and they shook. "Nice to meet you, as well." He replied. "Soooo..." Said Axl, looking at X hopefully, "When do we get refreshments?"
