Okay, I really hate to tell you this, honey, but you only captured FANDOM Eridan's personality. The CANON Eridan is a selfish, arrogant, hemoist jerkwad with a genocide complex (and I love him for it).
I'm sorry to be mean about it but it just bothers me so much that my favorite character in all of Homestuck and my major roleplay character is just so badly portrayed in the fandom...
The art here is totally lovely, don't get me wrong, but I just... You're portraying Eri wrong. And I can't live with that. If it's just that you're misinformed about him because of the vast amount of incorrectness about him in the fandom, then fine, but I would strongly suggest reading over his pesterlogs again.

No, no I totally get you! I love Eridan too; I was just joking around. He is a great character, and I appreciate you telling me exactly how you feel! He is my second favorite troll, and even if I appreciate that you told me exactly how you felt, just try to not be so mean about it! I get it, and I'm glad that you told me, however, I do not appreciate it being told to me in such a nasty manor. And, again, I was just joking around, and I would strongly suggest that if you want to tell someone something, to tell it to them in a more subtle way. There's no need to get mean about it, your point could be made perfectly fine without the attitude. (But thanks for liking the art anyhow!)

Oh my god calm down. She knows perfectly well how Fandom Eridan and Canon Eridan are portrayed. It's just a joke. I can understand if you don't like how Fandom Eridan is portrayed, and I don't like it either because it throws off who he is as a character, but it's one picture. I'm sorry for just randomly popping in, but I don't want you to make false assumptions about my friend. She knows perfectly well the difference between the two Eridans, and she doesn't need you to tell her. She has read Homestuck, and she doesn't need someone to tell her what to draw. No need to attack someone, albeit politely, just because you're offended of how he is portrayed in one picture that doesn't even effect your life or how Eridan is in comic.
