Headcanon: Maika likes frogs, especially tree frogs and poison dart frogs (thinks they're cute). When she met Rana, she sort of geeked out because Rana's name means frog in Spanish and because she's bright and colorful like one. Rana did not take the comparison as a compliment-in addition to the fact that it just doesn't sound very flattering to begin with without context, she's also terrified of frogs.

Sort of meant as expression practice.
