Part of a series on the wheel of the year with Vocaloid characters and art nouveau.Imbolc started out in Europe as a way to welcome back the light and search for the first signs of spring, usually by observing snakes, badgers, or hedgehogs (hence the groundhog tradition in the US-not so many badgers or hedgehogs around). It was eventually Christianized into Candle-mass or the feast of Saint Brigid. Snowdrops were common imagery as they bloom around this time.
