She stood there with no words, her hood drawn up so you could not see her pain-filled eyes. She turned, her cloak waving in the wind, and began to walk into a vortex filled with unimaginable fears and horrors. I cried out for her to stop. All she did was turn her head and say,"It's what everyone would want, Starfire."

Tears filled my emerald eyes and I fell to my knees, pleading for her to stay. She shook her head,"I'm sorry Starfire." And she was gone. It actually happened; Raven's emotions took over her mind, took over her body. She was dangerous, and she had to go.

But I did not want her to go; she was my friend. Raven would never hurt anyone on purpose. But, she did it to me, right now. She hurt my feelings, by rejecting my pleads and tears. But that wouldn't stop me.

I ran as fast as I could; as fast as I ever could, and I jumped into the vortex just before it closed. I wanted to be with Raven; I did not care about the others. I only cared for the dark girl, who was quiet, yet powerful.

I never went back.

I never saw Raven.

I never saw anything.

Because I died,

when I jumped in.

But I can still see the image,

in my head,

of Raven,

just standing there.
