Eh, I dunno. =T I've seen a lot of "The fandom killed Invader Zim for me boo-fucking-hoo!" things going on lately so I made this.Look, I like IZ. I've liked it for a long, long time. 9.9 So this is for the folks who still like it. Who gives a damn about the people who draw Slash or TallZim or random pairings? Dude it's FUN. XD; Do what you want with your fanart and fics. Just don't act like an asshole about the people who like the show and DON'T let them drive you out of the fandom. If you wanna leave, go on ahead, people move on. But don't blame it on the fans for having fun.

Whats the point of these I dont care what you hink stamps, are you trying to get people to shutup about it, because likewise they do not care what you think either. Well you should give more than two shits. Some people are tired of checking out fandom things like fan art and fanfiction only to be overloaded by people's pervisions and OOC romance shipping everything under the sky with 0 restraint. So maybe if more so called "fans" would control themselves people would stop hating on the fandom.Β

It's alright. A fandom is basically the community of people that surround a tv show, book, movie, comic, etc. (I'm sorry, I know this was posted two years ago and you probably know by now, but just in case, here.)

I agree to some extent, but that doesn't mean I still don't find a lot of the fans annoying. There's crazy people in every fandom but with Zim it seemed like almost everyone supported making the characters fornicate...go figure. That's their right but again, I don't have to like it.

Sure I can see all the 'wrongs' the fandom has made, sure people are making things up, but don't all fandoms do that? And what's wrong with it anyways? It IS fun

Haha, I have to say, my stand altered a bit since the three years ago I posted this XD
I mean, personally I do find fanfiction/art that keeps the canon in mind more enjoyable nowadays. It's harder to make things work your way when you have the boundaries, and it's fun to see how people overcome the obstacles
And sometimes people do go way out and beyond the crazy and creepy and OOC, and it might get on my nerves, but it's still no reason to bitch at them, they're not doing it for ME, after all, they're doing it for their own amusement. Why spoil the fun, eh?

I agree. Most IZ purists agitate me. D: I feel offended too, when people point out for the 6 millionth time how it's 'inaccurate' to draw Irkens in love or even with boobs. xD Not the point... My point being, I hate when people get bothered for just using their creativity. It's better to take things into your own hands and create your own expandable ideas, instead of just follow the original rules and ways like a zombie.

Who does give a damn? The show's off the air save for DVDs, and has been for a couple years now. It's already dead and really, it doesn't matter if they're fucking purists or not. It's not ruining the show, it's just people drawing and writing... IS THAT A BAD THING?! @_@

People are just control freaks, when they think of something (a story, etc...) one way they get pissed off when others don't agree with them. And when they can't force their ideology on others they get pissy and try to turn things around like: "I'm leaving because you guys ruined it with all you're damned freethinking!".
