Total in-joke here. My character Devon and =berrixkisses are the two in the pic.The lineart of them both was drawn by =berrixkisses , the coloring and the background is all me. :3

If I had gone straight through this without going to the bathroom, eating, or sleeping, I think it would have taken a little more than a day and a half. :3
Used Photoshop CS2 and Bamboo tablet.

Hm, looking back at it - I think a fuzzy brush shouldn't have been used for the speech bubbles. s'only gripe i've got.

Why wouldn't I be able to crosshatch in a color pic? o-0 It's what I do most of the time in the colored pencil stuff, but that isn't 100% opacity.
Really, the cross-hatching was me laying down the colors. I was going to blend them in so that they looked more like everyone else's/better, but

That brush was supposed to be like a paintbrush. I don't remember the name of it. It came with CS2. X/ I could probably change that if it's your gripe. >D Not sure if I still has PSD, but it shouldn't be hard either way.

Just, I know if i tried it I'd end up blurring everything together. xD Fair point. Nah, I like that it's different, and has the colored pencil look to it. That's sweet.

Haha, it's really excellent, though, and I can completely see Dev begging Amaya for it. In any case, it's a lovely drawing in itself, but I especially like how you used textures. The only thing I like a little less is how you colour skin - I must admit, I'm partial to the glowy CG type of skin - but other than that, you did an excellent job. Really detailed and lovely.

I prefer making the skin and everything more realistic, even if I'm coloring chibis. It's different, at least.

I think with chibis somewhat shiny and "omg, the brightness" is alright - but with regular art I prefer less shiny.
