ok at last, heres the finalinfo in the preview
also included readme file
hope u guys enjoy this
other stuff running in the screenshot
is CAD (cd art display)
with a own modded theme
and the weather and sysinfo is yahoo widgets called
widescapeweather and informer
and can be found on yahoo widgets site
and a SPECIEL thanks to TQDgamer98
For helping me out with lots of stuff
and made it faster and esier for me to do this
hes been rly great
and i wanna thank all u ppl out there

EDIT* The system dll files wont work on x64 machines
and i have sp1 on mine so i think maybe they doesnt work if u dont have sp1
and i heard some guys had problems get it to work
and i got worried, but there were many ppl who got it to work too so yeah
and they work for me.. ive checked it up!
i use tuen-up utillities [link]
to change my VS and so on
i dont know if that has something to do that my system files work
and not for other ppl
but if u can u should test it.. its rly great app and u can do alots with it
and it has helped me out alot when i had problems gettinf explorer to run properly i could just open that from failsafe cmd and change theme or whatever

no thats just 2 screenshots for basic and regular
on my second screen i allways have fullscreen firefox or photoshop
so i never take that in screenshots or whatever

Very cool. Had to go back to V1 to figure out how to make it work. Unfortunately, the minimized WMP 11 doesn't look so great in the Taskbar, but oh well.

im having troubles getting the theme to work.
when it sasy "about the "system32" files
take ownership of the regualr files in "C:\windows>system32"
then rename then to "shell32.dll.bak" and "browseui.dll.bak"
and just put my files in the folders"
Take ownership of, and rename what files? And put in what folders? And also, this can all be done without a shell program, right>?

u just wrote the answer urself XD
its the shell32.dll and browseui.dll u gonna change in the C:\windows\system32 folder
but i heard som guys had probbs with those so i dont reccomend u try those out yet

yeahhhhhh, i tried it out anyway, and my computer got SCREWED.
luckily, i had the peace of mind to set a restore point before i did it, and it ended up working again. so yeah.
Anyway, heres what happened:
after i changed the filenames and restarted, the welcome screen came up, but siad "cannot find browseui.dll" (yeah i have vista) From there, everything worked file (besides not being able to use explorer at ALL, but i could still use shortcuts to make itunes and stuff work.
A black background isn't nearly as cool as windows Aero themes though. LOL

work so i cant use Aero and see things normally

have u re-installed the drivers for ur graphic card?
right click on desktop take personalize and display settings then u can see what card u hace i think.

yea, I've tried to but it fails to install.. it says that the drivers work only for Windows 2000 & XP Now I'm trying to find a theme patcher for Vista so I can at least try the non transparent one..

I hv problem with the menu colour too. even I set it to white but still cant change it.... I am really love yr theme but black text with dark grey are really difficult to catch it

The Vistax64 files are bigger.

Anytime man! I'm actually on my Dad's PC. I'm reformatting mine at the moment. I jacked something up with my Shell32.dll file. Whoops!
It's nothing to do with your Shell32.dll replacement, I was just trying to do something else.. and I messed up. Anyways, my PC will be working in about an hour. It just restarted after all the updates... and that part takes ages. lol
Well, I'm going to apply your theme the right way this time.. and not try my idea again

Probably. I'm using SP1, well was. It worked before. Then I just wanted to fix something with me Shell32.dll and bam.. "Cannot Load Shell32.dll.... more blah blah, Please enjoy your black and empty void of a background."
Right now it's on the loading bar after the updates.. really lame. been like that for almost and hour. Aside from that, I love Vista lol

Yeah, XP themes were a lot easier to make. Vista just wanted to complicate things lol
