This is an anti-ZADR pic, as you all can see... Zim is suffocating Dib with a rope, and holding him over a cliff, saying "Does THIS look like love?!" And no, Dib is not blushing, his face is turning blue, because of his lack of breath... and you can see my character in the corner, with a sign saying "Stop ZADR" because I really, truely want to stop it...Er... this is for anti-zadr-club... I have no idea what I am supposed to do to send them a pic, so I just hope they find this...
P.S. I know I am against all _A_Rs, but I still love Zim... I love him so...

Ha, then you need to take a good look in the mirror, if you're going to damn someone over a fictional pairing.
There are some people pretty much no deviant cares about - like angry little fangirls, uncapable to draw/think/breath out of the Jhonen-verse. Anyone who doesn't post something original within their first month and has 'Invader' in their name, is gonna be trouble.
People like you ruin the fanbase. And you're not artists. So you have to purpose here but to force stupid, unreasonable opinions on people far greater than you will ever be - ie: about 70% of Invader Zim fans. I'm not saying everyone who likes this stupid pairing is awesome, because so many of them are dumb bitches too.
I'm just saying I hate you, everything you stand for, and that you should get off this website unless you're going to post something original or at least in an original style. As a great artist once said 'everything unoriginal is meaningless'.

Your pretty much saying that because we like this show aswell, and have 'invader' in our name, that we have no life outside of Jhonen's show/book. How am I unoriginal? And the reason I have the name "Invader Lin" is because my name is Lin, and I like "Invader Zim" so people at my school just started calling me "Invader Lin" I also go by the name ZimFreak...
And the reason I yell at everyone that likes this fictional pairing, is because I'm sick and tired of everytime I go on the internet, I see a stoopid picture of Zim and Dib kissing, and doing a million other things that I don't want to think about...
ZADR makes me sick I feel like I'm going to throw up everytime the word is brought up... seriously... It makes Jhonen sick too...

As someone who genuinely cares about art as a form of expression and not a way of vomiting semi-digested ideas onto a page, I feel I'm well within my rights to tell people that art means art.
By the way, what made you comment on this now? I'd forgotten I'd even written it... Ugggh, whatever. Not all people who have Invader in their name are crap. But as for the majority.... well. People who only draw fanart are not artists, they're just blenders. BLENDERS. Things that cut something up and spit it back at you, often completely destroyed. Not all fanart is bad, some is astonishing. Not all original artists are good, some are actually pretty damn awful - but they're TRYING. They're TRYING to think. Trying to get back to what art is about, you know? Expression? Not just regurgitaion.
I myself make a lot of fanart, hey it's fun, but if people just want to live in a fantasy world where that's all that matters, or think it makes them an incredible artist - no. Unoriginality makes you about as much of an artist as covering songs makes you a vocal artist - (you may be a singer, but who cares?)
Originallity is necessary in art. Blenders are not.
Nothing personal, as of course, I have no idea who you are. You're just someone who interrupted a long since finished argument to push past opinions that no-one asked for. And as I know you'll call me a hypocrite for saying that, the entire purpose of creating a flaming piece of art is to draw attention (and thus, criticism).

And I look forward to you reading my resopnse. Any way, I still don't agree with you saying that 'blenders' aren't real artist. They still create images using artistic...whatever. They just use someone elses characters to get their message through. And I know you know that some of these 'blenders' are good artist, yet you keep instisting that they have no right to be called artist. I mean, if I for example, created an out standing painting, but used another persons character, then your saying that it means nothing and all it is is vomitt. Well, it still took a long time, and lot's of effort, so how can it not count as art?
Originality is only a small part of it. Vision, message, use of medians, expression, that's all that really matters! Reguardless of what you paint. I mean, would a painting of a toilet be more satisfiying to you than a Invader Zim scene? Not to me.
Also, I only have fan art in my gallery, some of it is pretty damn good to. But since none of it is original, then they must all be trash, and I must not be an artis, no matter to the fact that I have the abilities to creat such things.
Besides, where does it say that fan art isn't art? I know i'm repeating my self when I say this, but aslong as a paintbrush touches a canvas, or a pencil to a pice of paper, it is art. phh, and who are you to say what is and isn't art? Then again, that is your oppinion. And as a strong beliver in freeedom of speech, I respect your belife. But still, a fanart artist is just as good as one who does original things. They are just different. One creates from the mind, while the other must try stay within the style of a different artist.

Ah, I love when people don't really listen... NOT all fanart is rubbish, but people who can't do anything besides are pointless blenders.
And no, I don't see you as an artist. If you want to draw fanart but still be artistic, then develop your own style. As long as you take unoriginal charcters and draw them in someone else's style - even in a different medium or with different poses - that can only be considered practice or pointless. You'll probably develop your skills over time, but only if you TRY. And hunny, you're not trying if you're only producing copies of a famous artist's work.
Hmmmm, let me use an example. I don't know how old you are, but I'm currently sixteen and taking my GCSE in art. Last year, at the start of our course, we had to make copies of artist's paintings, for practice. Later we moved on to either using elements from their works and combining them, or working in their sort of style. Now, to get anything over a D grade, we have to be original and come up with our own ideas. As such, you can probably see where I'm going with this - even if I drew the most beautiful drawing/painting/watercolour of someone else's idea or character or made it entirely in the way they would have, I'd get a D. And quite frankly, what's the point in that?
So yes, as I said, fanart is great in moderation, can be quite beautiful, but if it's where you stop yourself - there IS NO point.

How old are you? I'm guessing thirteen, and I'm not being ageist, you just come across as someone with the immaturity of a thirteen year old.
Anyone who wants the show back can't really be a true fan, as everyone knows if it came back it would have less than half the original cast, including Jhonen quitting, as they have done all they would like to with it. No-one who loves the show would want to see it become the next spongebob squarepants, now would they?

Your very close to guessing my age, and I have the DVDs of Invader ZIM and watch them practically everyday, I would LOVE to have the show back, but I don't think it's coming back... T_T And I know Jhonen... kinda, we met a couple times... and I really don't have any friends, I'm a poor, helpless emo, that everyone hates...
And 'the girl who brought Zim back to rememberance after like, three years' is true... I kept my love for Zim a secret, until 2005, then I started expressing my love for it, and then everyone at my school saw me, and probably passed it onto their friends, and families... and I made one friend after that, who isn't my friend anymore, because she took everything from me, but that's another story...
Zim was really the only thing that made me happy, so, yeah... I am a BIG fan...

If the show came back it actually wouldn't BE IZ anymore so, you know, don't hope for it. Sorry to tell you, but I'm sure Jhonen meets fans pretty much every weekend and I highly doubt he'll remember you. It's a shame you don't have many friends but a) this sort of behaviour may be why, and b) pretty much everyone goes through that at your sorta age.
And sweetie, I'm afraid also that telling a bunch of people at your school about a TV show doesn't grant you worthy of that title.
But listen, if you want someone to talk to about these sorts of things (like friend issues and feeling you don't fit in) I could help you there. I know because I went through that between the ages of eleven and fourteen. So, you know, if you do want someone to talk to, I'd be happy to.
