Chapter Three

After a week in the nursery, the smeet where now registered as Irkens. They where all gathered up in a room, Mist at the back, her clothing different. They where at the height of irkens and fully ready to start the Invasion. Mist wore a black shirt with red curved triangles at the bottom of the shirt. Around her neck was a blue teardrop necklace, given to her by Jik. She wore black pants with the same triangles in the same place. She wore black boots. Her eyes, pure black, sparkled in the light and gave off a strange but unseen glow of power. She had a long green tail, with black feathered at the end. Large wings grew from her back, the bone part black and the membrane red. She watched as a male Irken, about a little taller then her, climbed up on stage. The Irken started to speak.

“You are now part of the Irken Empire. Hopefully, you will someday invade a planet, and win it for the Irken Empire.” A cheer was sent up in the room. Mist did not cheer, her eyes flashing. The Irken on stage tripped, breaking his antenna. There was silence. But then laughter came from the back of the room, from Mist. All eyes turned to her.

“Hey! You can laugh at the top guard!” Someone called out. Mist stopped and smiled at the Irken who had said that to her. The Irken fainted. All the Irkens started, afraid. One of the guards grabbed Mist.
“I think the Tallest need to have a talk with you.” Said the guard. There was a hush. A talk with the tallest surely meant death. Mist smiled and said, “Okay.” She was led away.
~At the Tallest control room.~
Mist was brought before the Tallest. She was cool and clam. She smiled as they looked up.
“What happened?” Red asked the guard.
“Eh... She laughed when the High Guard fell. He broke his antenna.” The Tallest where silent for a moment then they turned to Mist.

“What’s your I.D. number?” Red asked.

“I don’t have a Pak,” She turned around,”see?” The Tallest where baffled and stared for a moment.

“I am part of PM. Project Mars, if you remember. Or maybe you just forgot.” She smirked as the Tallest stared at her.

“You-You can’t talk to us like that!” Purple burst out. Mist only smiled, her fangs reveled.

“So, are you going to kill me?” She asked. Purple stared to answer but Red interrupted.

“No..where not going to kill you. We’ll let you live.” Mist smiled, seeming to have won and was led back to the room. The other Irkens paid no attention to her. She smiled, tilting her head and blinked, her eyes sparkling with a sort of laughter.
