well, this is a for ~Mech-Maker 's contest.i'm pretty happy with this one even though it wasn't colored. anyway i'd probably be driven insane coloring this one. so yeah... hope you guys like it and also hope it gets one of the top places in the contest ^^ i cameoed Raf and a SpecOps (couldn't resist putting the SpecOps) man this is the most intense battle scene i've ever drawn XDD I just love this pic ^^ so intense!! i can immagine them saying words like "SHIT! we're taking heavy fire from enemy armor! WHERE THE HELL IS OUR SUPPORT!?" or something like that...
i was gonna write a story for this but didn't have time
anyway, i'll probably write it some other time if i wanted to [EDIT] part of my inspiration came from this video [link]

Lol, anyhow, very nice! It's a little too busy without color, but I'm sure it would be allot easier to read with color, even without color I don't struggle to read what's going on...
I especially like all the little things in this one, like the tally marks on the rim of the scout's helmet.

that video, would be an interesting influence for this drawing. i kinda melded the two things together in my mind, and something really powerful and tragic came out of the fog. not just this war, but any war, especially one that would involve two species fighting for survival. no one will ever truly win.

woaah this is an intense picture! The detail is phenominal I really like the the use of black lines as shading, like the guy's helmet and on the shirt. Great work!

yeah i had no other way to shade this pictuer... and using pencil normally seems to ruin them when i use ink for the outlines. so i'm glad the black lines were quite effective. ^^

Took a while to get my bearings and understand the layout at first, that's the benefit of coloring. But I can see everything clear now. I love all the ships and the crashed Viral Tank. I also love the guys on the cliff in the distance getting blasted. The Vorts running up the middle of the picture look cool too how you posed them, I also like the Elite with his hand gesture and the soldier with the kill ticks etched in his helmet. Only question, I see a barrier set up on the cliff side on the right side of the picture. It has a thing that looks like an Elite's hand hanging over it, cept it's too big for how the perspective is. Is that supposed to be a busted stationary gun?

yeah, I wanted to give some realism to the picture so decided to put those kill ticks on that soldier's helmet as well as the blast marks... The crashed Viral Tank was my favorite touches to the picture. It filled up a lot of empty space, but it worked, right?. and yeah that's a stationary gun up there.
