well i had to trace over some of the old drawings to do this since i couldn't redraw them due to my change in style and my massive improvement in drawing. so anyway, this is the evolution of how i drew raf and below i will write his descripitions from first to last... OK HERE WE GO WOO!!

1) the overly happy turtle Raf- ok how do i say this... DAMN HE'S UGLY! yeah that was the first Raf in human form. Actually the first official design of Raf cause Irken form wasn't developed yet and it was a simple attempt at drawing myself >< i hate me... yeah so he was just a happy person with a normal life. XDDD I hate the way that sounded, life should be depressing and sad it's never compete if it's too happy... anyhow he had no story yet... his neck was too long and the bottom of his chin was too ummm... bent. So i gave him the name of turtle Raf later on. The reason why his neck was long was because he was a drawing of Tak at first. Then i had to remove the turtle neck thingy whatever that is... so i didn't know what to do with that excess neck XDD and notice the boots are slightly different... plus his jacket used to be blue.

2) new Raf- he finaly starts to take shape to look like the one of today but his torso is too long, legs too short and body was too wide. oh, and his jacket is gray now. XD At least now the whole long neck problem was sloved by givining him a longer torso but now my problem went to his legs since they looked too short. Here, Raf is already an Irken. His irken form was made in between phase one raf and this one. He already had a story.... basically he knew Tak and when she failed to be an invader and after the whole Tak; the hideous new girl thingy he tries to help her to become one. He was an invader here but he turned it down to help tak. Thus the whole Raf and Tak joke sparked out which is seen in one of my works "Raf Like Stupidness" Raf went through phase 2 of his irken form by the time i had the story idea. not much to be said but here he had some distaste for Zim and Dib now XDD Later on he was made a specOps commando Irken but back then the uniform was bulkier. so it didn't look too nice.

3) Tall and ugly brute Raf- now i tried to solve my long torso problem by giving him longer legs but this made him too tall. notice his hair style doesn't look as bad as the previous one. his story was somewhat developed personality as well. Now he began his homicidal ways. umm... i wasn't too clear on his story yet here XDD but he was homicidal and his story didn't associate with Tak anymore. Except in The Most Horrible Story comic where I made fun of him again XDD... but other than that there was no real story... ><

4) modern Bad ass Raf- here we have the cool and insane Raf who hates everyone and wants to piss you off just for the hell of it... here his story was fully developed and the other OCs (Vee, Shtook, Tarp, Nera) and constant RPing contributed to some other developments in his wacky personality. Finally the style is more like Jhonen's notice his very skinny legs and stick-figure-like proportions. his head has become wider to accomodate his huge eyes and possibly is able to pull off a better creepy smile. his boots have become smaller and more like Dib's in style. The previous boots were too blocky. I finally solved the jacket problem as well. He has less shoulder and his collar was made dinkier to make him look funny. and he is just the right height here and i solved my body proportion problem.

so yeah... that is the last of his development. i should stop filling up your devWatch with all this crap. ><
