Next: [link]OKAY. Before everyone jumps down my throat asking why on earth I'm starting antoher comic while I'm working on the VFA; I'm not. This is an experiemnt, you see.
Last night, I guess I must have been a little delerious, or something. Anyway, I started a picture, that turned into a panel, which became a comic page, and now I have this little idea swimming around in my head. This will be a comic that I work on only at night, as my brain slowly stops functioning the way it should, and I start getting weird ideas and things that I will put into this comic. It will hopefully continu, but not cut into VFA.
And don't worry, it's not even supposed to make sense. This is set in 'Betwixt'- Monarch's dream realm. Anything could happen here. Depends how I'm feeling, or how I choose to continue the story at the time. (By the way, if anyone needs a translation for my crappy handwriting I will put one up, and don't bother reading the text behind the panels because it is gibberish
)Anyway, I'll keep dreaming, and hopefully this might become something neat.

The gray tones certainly work wonders for the vibe.

Thank you! Oh, I just use a semi-transparent airbrush and go over the area I want glowy, as well as making sure I show where the light falls on other areas.

This piece has a genuine creepy vibe to it. I like the armor/strength enhancer materializing. Some of the text took a couple of reads, but I got it all.

The claw-arm normally comes out in a 'shaking' motion- the user basically flings their arm foawrd from behind with a roll of the shoulder, and it all just clamps on, but that's hard to make work in comic format and I did it this way to make it work |D
My handwriting is terrible, I hope it didn't take too much strain.

Wow..i cant even describe the beuty of this...you totally have to continue this as a comic, it just fills me with a sense of awe and enchantment, yet a lingering malignance and chill. Thats a very good use of cold tones right there, and panel 5 simply blowsm e out of the water..its..spectacular...i really have too few words to describe how much i love this, i actually want to be IN there right now...Amazing work..just amazing...

Gotta say, this is probably one of the most interesting comic ideas I've seen in a while. It almost has a Sandman (readitifyouhaven'tit'ssodamnawesome) feel to it too. It also feels like there is something beyond this comic, like an idea in the background..and no, that didn't come from trying to read the background gibberish XD;;
The selective color scheme also adds to what seems like a very dreary, if not a bit abstract mood.
But yeah, awesome job with this comic! Looking forward to seeing the next installment c:
