Oh my, oh my... What's happening here... Well, it's an explanation of sorts... And I really hope it makes that other picture of the Butterfly dying make a little more sense... You think I would actually kill Monarch? Geeze guys, I love her like a daughter D:<

Anyway, this is the second side to the fragment I didn't number... The real view on it. Don't believe what you see at face value...

I am kind of surprised how much of an embraced kiss that was. They even look as if they were out of breath, but also overwhelmed with happiness, they kind of "Chip chip cheerio, that was a rather exhausting but enjoyable display." but not really with that accent... you know?
For some reason I find something really appealing about Monarch and her cloooones' mouths. Just a very welcoming expression often on them, and it just seems like someone you could fall in love with by a single kiss. I feel the same way about her real Monarch's antennae, so inviting and peaceful man~
As I said on yahoo, I thought it was a metaphor for one looking within themselves to find the inspirations of their heart, only to back themselves off to keep them on what I like to call the "Nirvana path". (Seeking of enlightenment or peace-filled establishment, rather than finding happiness in material objects and people.)
The real story behind it all is just as interesting and definitely could have a strong metaphorical possibility.

Well, to be honest, they've both been 'apart' for at least.... Eight decades preceeding this picture, and neither parted on great terms yet each still had a yearning for the other throughout their abscence.
Eheh, I lvoe drawing lips, and Monarch has a rather wide, smiley mouth most of the time c: Thank you dude (And those antennae are a bitch to draw sometimes).

Oh I noticed, you put a lot of details in your characters with them, also makes their expressions inviting and calmed too. (And I bet, those antennae look hard to draw consistency.)
