Because those songs rock the hell outta me :3
Plus, I wanted to do a picture with movement in it without the character actually moving :3 And it was a good experience with the backlighting.
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this :3

i love all the movement in this. also, the character's accessories (including that bloody a-we-some mechanic hand) and clothes really add to the atmosphere. if this was in wallpaper format, i would probably have it on my desktop right now.

Holy shitzzznell. Ok, what inspires you for these sceneries? I think of that one beautiful landscape you did not too long ago, with Saik and the meteors (the one with the message from Thymel? Gah, I wish I could rememeber the deviation title!) now that I think of it. I for one, hate drawing backgrounds with a passion. Yet ironically, I spend a lot of time looking at them.
You kept perfectly to the colour scheme, but crafitily made sure not to blend her in the background.

Pfft, I only handed in my "hatred for backgrounds" membership card in late last year. I figured, like all other things, if I forced myself to include them more often then I would get better, therefore enjoy doing them more. And I dooooo :3
