The single-player campaign isn't separate to co-op as such, its just altered a bit. Single-player will be just like the 2nd game in terms of being in the presence of NPC's. Like Ellie in Dead Space 2, you'll see Carver occasionally in single-player. There's really nothing to worry about, and playing Dead Space with a friend will be so much fun! Dead Space is evolving, EA haven't ruined it yet.

Indeed! Its just that I really love the Resident Evil series, and when RE5 came years ago, I disliked it so much...
Along came Visceral telling us that now DS3 (the other series I love, and the one I consider the true evolution of the Resident games) will be a co-op adventure... And showing us the E3 demo that looks like gears of war. It was a knife in my heart.
Yet I seen the new trailers. I heard the news and everything seems so awesome right now. I'm hyped, exited and glad.

I like the idea that your friend can jump in and out while you play through solo, so if you need a helping hand in a boss or something you just can't seem to get, you got backup!
But like you said, its not Capcom or something. They make horrible co-ops.
Lets hope this is the best DS yet! Looks epic in the trailer.

This is very nice! I kind of agree with you, it will ruin the scares probably, at least I hope there will be split-screen, and not exclusively online co-op!

Yeah, the horror will go away. I just dont want it to become Gears of Dead Space. And now all i see is Isaac taking cover and firing shit. Co-op could be nice, sure, but at least I wanna have a single player campaign. With no ai dudes in front of me.
