Great concept, and I love how you had the conversation going. This feels enough like both characters to be almost canon.

Thank you! I feel the same way. This comic is my best logical guess as to what a first meeting will be like, though I'm pretty sure whatever actually happens will be awesome.

(My best illogical guess is epic grimdark headbutts, so I've got all my bases covered. All of them.)

I'd be curious to see how John and Karkat's first actual meeting goes. And Dave and Terezi. Though I think those two are pretty straightforward. The trolls at least know what the humans look like due to Trollian's time window.

I believe John, Dave and Jade do know what trolls look like, mostly thanks to Terezi. Terezi showed John her picture when she sent him the Google LOWAS map, had crappy drawing exchanges with Dave, who even drew her once, and Jade's got dream bubbles and can meet them... so I guess the only one who will actually be nearing any kind of surprise will be Rose.

I'm expecting MAXIMUM DERP and high-fives from John. Possibly a not-very-well-thought-out attempt at hugs, just to give Karkat something to rage about. I wouldn't be surprised at more fist bumps/cool acknowledgements from Dave, with Terezi threatening to/succeeding in licking him. Pretty straightforward, yeah. Rose is the only one hard to predict.
