Artist's Training Grounds Alumni Group - Week 7 - Pony Chilling.It's the early days of Winter, there's a light layer of snow on the ground, and the Pegasus ponies have a flurry planned for today. Twilight is taking a break from her studies (gasp!) to take a nice chilly stroll before the storm... and there's the first snowflake of the day.
I love Twilight. Confound you egghead! She continues to be my favorite pony, and she remains my benchmark for my improvement, and so I had to use her for the infamous image number 50, although I have something else special in mind to celebrate it as well.
EDIT: Why is it that when I see my stuff on Equestria Daily I squee like a fangirl and clap my hands all excited-like? WHY!? This made the Drawfriend tonight, number 11, [link] SO AWESOME!

Thanks, they're right out of the show. Twilight spends all that time putting on her Winter outfit at the beginning of Winter Wrap Up, then I guess she finds the whole thing uncomfortable and goes out with nothing on for the rest of the episode! Crazy Pony!

I mostly relate to her as an egghead introvert with social anxiety issues.

I indentify with her the msot mainly due to my seriousness in weird situations, sort of like how she acts around those like Pinkie Pie...
I probably would act like her in the show, just my connection with Twilight ^_^

Heh, very cool! I think a lot of the appeal that the show has is just how much personality each pony has, and how easy it is to watch it and say 'Yeah, I'd react like that.'

So true! I' think many people, especially all of my friends, refuse to watch the show (probably due to its connection to the My Little Pony franchise). But giving it a chance, the show has likeable characters, good stories and morals that aren't shoved into your face, but are merely added in at the end to sum up the episode. I don't know, It is a shame most won't give it a chance, but if they do however, it is worth it

I'm encountering that same issue, all the negativity associated with the brand, and they don't bother looking past that to see what the show is really like.
And Oh man, I'm totally excited about Season 2, crazy excited! PINKIE PIE Level excited!

I'm probably in similar hopes to you, and really hope that it is as good as, maybe even better, than season 1. I really want to see more of Luna, and maybe see some more charcters again like Trixie, as I really liked he for some reason...
Anyone in particular you want to see more of or even again?

I'm definately hoping they'll do more with Luna beyond just having her show up, and I'd love to see more of Cloudsdale and other major non-Ponyville locations. There's so much that they could do, I'll just be happy when to see more of the mane six and Twilight again! They feel like old friends now!
