Frustrated with Helga's insecurity Arnold stops in the middle of a walk together to explain to her how much he loves her.They are about 21 here. In college, during their summer break.
Helga's style is based in the episode when she walks asleep and she wakes up taking a shower in Arnold's house, and she comes out and her hair is all wet (duh XD) and... I loved it D:
So this is the first one of a Summer FULL of HA! fanart and some original stuff too (maybe).
I'M FINALLY FREE!
I have to go to work now, and I haven't sleep, and I have to take the bus, since my mom doesn't want to drive me there, but I like it since I feel more independent.

This is so sweet and very close to the style of the show. ^^
I really like Helga's outfit and her hair looks really cute that way, especially with the headband. It's a good way of keeping her pink bow, but toning it done for a more mature look.
Anyway, the whole concept of this drawing is very nice indeed. I can imagine a scene like this between these two. ^_^

Arnold really spells it out for Helga here. 
I got into his pose to make sure that his shoulders are tilting the right way for how he's balanced: 
Helga looks wonderful and you adapted the wet hair style into a beautiful look for the semi-neurotic college girl of action. I am a bit concerned about her balance as she's standing here, but it really looks like she's leaning on something with her right elbow β perhaps an invisible fire hydrant.
It's great to have you "back" and I know you'll be keeping me very busy, which is great.

I should have checked (I do the same as you, I do the same poses and try them, but I had no problems to do the pose of Helga without support. I think you're right. The difference is probably a matter of weight distribution ... and just weight in general. The pose puts incredible strain on my left leg unless I move my right foot back some more. (And who knows if my leg is as straight as I think?) However, for and athletic and pretty young women (you or Helga) that pose is probably very natural and easy.
And it does look more like she's self-consciously stroking back a bit of hair on the right side of her head (perhaps to see better), which is ultra-adorable.
