The dynamism is pretty good. Although Heliolisk's frill never made much sense with how it moves, to be honest.

It is. But it can't be symmetrical on his neck while he's facing forward, andΒ symmetrical when it's flared out. For it to be a circle around his face, the back would be shorter when its down his neck. Unless something weird's going on.

Oh yeah, I totally get what you're saying, but I guess real physics would be difficult to implement into a pokemon game, especially when pokemon like Voltorb and Amoongus exist.

I think you may be mixing up Physics and Biology, but at least Amoongus makes sense. Voltorb doesn't though. Heliolisk just has too much symmetry that makes the motion of his frill asymmetrical.
