Part Deux of my MLP:FiM/Dungeons and Dragons mash-up fan art, Lyra and a Liliend, performing together for no reason other than music is beautiful.Hot dayum I'm exhausted. 5:14 hours in GIMP, most of that was breaks, and I love colors.
For now and all future questions, before any weird comments start popping up, this here, is a Liliend, [link] , A Chaotic Good Celestial with a love interest in the arts, NOT to be confused with any other form of strange reference. D&D Monsters are archaic enough to count as an obscure reference on their own right. I put 'more' clothes on it, cause, well, it is a kids show after all. Can't get too exotic with that stuff ^^
MLP:FiM belongs to Lauren Faust/Hasbro
D&D and all it's wonders belongs to Gary Gyaxx, cause all D&D related material belongs to him in my honest opinion, may his soul find eternal peace and adventure.

What?! A lillend?! That's much too human to use in a Friendship is Magic conte-oh. She's with Lyra. It's okay, then. ^_^
Very lovely image of very lovely creatures. Love the gradual color change of the lillend's hair. Very nice. Excellent choice for a usage of a D&D creature.
And of course, Lyra standing on two legs and holding an instrument puts a smile on my face. ^_^
Something feels a little odd about her face, though. I don't know if it's just that we don't see them with closed eyes a whole lot. The bridge of the nose feels off, but that might just be the angle of the head.

Could be the angle, I started with the head with no idea for pose in mind, so the end result comes off as....weird.
