I do not join usually any contest based on votes, because i don't have great number of watchers (and im not interested in false popularity or mathematical schemes of promotion my art at any costs etc). I was attracted by the fantasy theme of the contest, and i tried to do a design i would wear myself with great pleasure, and also thought of it to be liked by all kind of myth/fantasy/magic lovers, no matter of gender or age
... And promoting DA on my t-shirt would be also a pleasure, a place where imagination is shared and inspiration is infused through eyes in so many gorgeous artworks... countless emotions are born inside mind eager to born at their turn beauty, grace and endless depths of imagination in our lives...So here it is
*** The idea itself in my concept was to see Deviant Art community as a place where IMAGINATION is shared, where IMAGINATION is fed and enriched into a virtual "immortal" place where precious pieces of art are exposed by great artists and lovers of art. A place which could enrich our palette of imagination, adding also depth and daring into creation. The chromatic was chosen after DA official site palette of colors. The design has transparent contour. Its contour is done by the color of t-shirt. The main t-shirt design is 4000x4000 size ***

This one is one of my favorites! The details are great, the layering of the different values is done perfectly, and there is great movement. Great job!

I won't vote for this one, but I do want to say a few things about it. It's lovely, I love the details of your work ....I love that you bother to go a step further and try to make the T-shirt make a statement. But in that same frame of mind, words can help and they can hurt. Yours hurt, the T-shirt in and of itself is lovely. But, the words don't connect with what is going on in the T-shirt.
Sharing Imagination ......
It gave me so much hope, but thrown into the midst of that jumble of different mythical creatures without something to tie them all together made those words an needlessly and thankless distraction. In other words, it doesn't jump at you ....it doesn't drive you to want to read it. And when you post words on a T-shirt that is the purpose they serve if they aren't apart of a brand. So, my suggestion would have been to enlarge the hydra and even maybe done some overlapping with it on the front with the dragon and the pegesus(sp?), and then placed the words themselves on the back with the Deviant art symbol.
It would have made the words stand out better, and not break up the rhythum needlessly of the pictures in the front. Overall though, wonderful work, I am sure if you don't win you will probably place pretty high in this.

Dear friend, i see you are "expert" regarding "sharing imagination" into art creations as your beautiful comment shows. With the risk of being little malicious, i will add your own gallery *** [link] *** to offer a little more heaviness to you "expertise". Dont get me wrong, I AM ENCOURAGING you to go as deep as you can into expressing yourself through art, but also be a little more restrained with "throwing stones" for your liking.
I will offer humble to add few things, though:
-First imho the theme itself- "Mythological creatures" binds all depictions together. They don't play their own game there, they are just glimpses of mythological inspiration Deviant art could provide through so many artworks exposed by many artists, with different style/vision/talent.
-Secondly "sharing imagination" motto is continuing in words what "DA" symbol (under the head of the dragon) could tell without words. I wont repeat myself about it, read the concept description if you didnt.
Of course, anyone is free to see more or less into any kind of art(thats the magic in it). And of course, behind every word, a decent sharp mind could read and see the inner self and part of its story of the writer... I wish you well

Throwing stones?
I think you mistake diamonds for rocks, simply because you can't perceive anything of worth being thrown at you. You my friend, are the one whom tramples on gold thinking it dirt simply because it's beneath you.
I didn't aim to insult. I stated what I liked, what I didn't like, and how I thought it could have been made better. Your answer, you simply tried to discredit me, because I don't choose to develop my art in the same direction as you. You are right, each word you wrote described you ...and you left an impression as well.
Think hard on this, why did you bother to explain (concept design) something that I should be able to see for myself, if you don't recognize the weakness in the translation to begin with. So, why not instead of getting huffy about it, fix it if you can, and learn for it ...to get better.
It's funny ....who do you think is more well known? Picasso or Disney?

Friend, i wont go deeper to see into yourself, or try to imagine your real life problems/frustrations etc, because we both may be a bit... disappointed. Of course we all have demons to fight, the difference is some silently fight back and try to defeat them or die trying, and others are throwing their weakness to anyone they could grasp. If we're about ot talk about "gold and trash",...I NEVER START aggressive on anyone, whatever i like or dislike, but try to encourage and build even a small brick with my words in the others personality, self confidence, creativity etc.
I read very well hidden thoughts after words, feel with deep sensibility the untold... I let you be satisfied with your statements and inner thoughts, and wish you happiness in there after your own resemblance.
About describing for you the concept... well you are the only one of ALL visitors to need that explication. I leave to you to wonder why you weren't able to see it, or insult all the others as well for not having your profound vision.
Now about your last question... Beyond names, i name a great artist that one who can create and maintain a deeper and longer catharsis effect on the contemplating one, and seed the soul with inspiration and creativity power, in any known aspect of them into our lives.

Okay, this is my last comment to you, because it's only getting worst the longer this goes. Plain speech, and no paragraphs on this one.
I only wrote a comment, because I liked your work and saw some ways that you could have made it better. If it insults you ...I am sorry, and if I hurt your feelings that wasn't what I was trying to do.
There ...if you can find fault with that statement, then it's truly you that has the problem.
